In spite of it being a holiday weekend, or “the official end of summer” (pet peeve alert!), I’ve been sticking to my plant-based ways. We had the “Idea of Pizza” last night, but truthfully, they were all actually delicious. OMWC knows what he’s doing in the kitchen.

 

 

Of possible interest to food people here, I’ve recently found an app that is awesome: PizzApp+. Using the values I plugged in last night, we had a great dough ready in just two hours (lack of planning!) that came out weighing just 1 gram over the projected total weight of the recipe, which was mostly my fault because instead of using 2.92 grams of yeast, I used 3 so I didn’t have to get my microscale out (used mostly for mixing hydroponic nutrients).

 

 

The dough performed beautifully in our little Gozney Roccbox pizza oven. OMWC is My Hero for making three pizzas in front of a ridiculously hot oven when it was already 115F outside.

Anyway, tonight we are having spherified cocktails if we can get everything just right. Oh, food? Probably? Maybe?
