I’ve been reliably informed that the software running our server is going to be upgraded on Tuesday. There shouldn’t be much, if any, downtime, but I wanted to warn you all now.

Also, due to some special programming that is coming this week, I will be shutting everyone out of the backend of the site from tomorrow morning around 1000 GlibTime to sometime later in the week. This includes all the Contributors, Editorial Staff, and, yes, even TPTB. Admins will be able to access the backend as needed per usual.

Don’t be alarmed when you login and it doesn’t present your usual writing/editing dashboard. Your privileges will be restored.

If you have writing in progress, don’t worry, it will still be there when you are allowed back in. If you are just starting an idea, you might want to write it in some other app until I open the back of the site again. That way, you can just paste in your content as soon as you have access.

Articles and commenting thereon will continue to be available throughout.

If you have any questions or comments, please direct them to my legal counsel for this project, STEVE SMITH, ESQ.

You may now proceed to your Sunday Night Open Post!
