Cat attacks pilot on flight to Qatar, forces plane to divert back to airport

A flight leaving from Sudan’s capital city of Khartoum was forced to return to the airport last week after a cat reportedly attacked the pilot of the plane.

The flight, operated by Tarco Aviation, was headed to Doha, the capital of Qatar, when the incident took place, reports Sudan’s Al-Sudani news. A source for the outlet claims the plane had been in the air for approximately 90 minutes before it was forced to turn back to Khartoum International Airport.

The plane returned safely, but the severity of the pilot’s injuries is unclear. A representative for Tarco Aviation did not immediately return a request for additional information.

Meanwhile, it is believed that the cat “infiltrated” the aircraft the night before the flight, when the plane was stationed in a hangar for cleaning, Al-Sudani reported.

“Get a ‘U’ for your country’s name!” the cat terrorist screeched as he tore the flesh from the pilot’s face.

RBG could be honored with a monument at the U.S. Capitol

On the grounds of the U.S. Capitol, the majority of monuments depict White men.

But soon, the late Supreme Court justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg could become a permanent fixture.

A bill introduced Tuesday by the Democratic Women’s Caucus — including co-chairs Rep. Jackie Speier (D-Calif.), Rep. Lois Frankel (D-Fl.), Rep Brenda Lawrence (D-Mich.) — and by Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.) in the Senate, would construct a monument of the feminist legal titan in a “place of prominence” at the Capitol. A monument of Ginsburg, who died in September, would be a tribute to her lifelong fight for female equality.

And when it gets torn down in the 2029 Incel Riots, that’ll be OK, right?

Crowd rallies around gay men detained on Mexico beach

A crowd of people on a beach in Mexico rallied around three men who were being detained by police after someone reportedly complained about “obscene acts of exhibitionism.

The incident on Zazil Kin beach in Tulum on Feb. 21 was captured on video by Maritza Escalante Morales. It shows a crowd of supporters saying “I’m also gay” and “no to homophobia” as police detain the men.

“We are gay, and they are taking us for that,” one of the men says as he’s being lead onto a patrol vehicle in his bathing suit. The man was handcuffed to another man.

The couple from Canada were kissing on the beach, local news reports said. Police arrived after someone reported “obscene acts of exhibitionism.”

Officers pressured by the crowd let the men go.

Deep down, I’m convinced a Karen was involved. Or the Mexican equivalent. Consuela?

PSA

I received the first dose of the Pfizer COVID vaccine on Friday and I experienced a medium-severe allergic reaction. As I have had severe allergic reactions in the past, I was already going to be watched for 30 minutes after getting the shot, but it only took a few minutes for symptoms to appear (shortness of breath, eyes swelling shut, tongue numbness and swelling.) I alerted the medical personnel at the vaccination site immediately and as a first line they gave me a whopping huge dose of Benedryl.

I did not improve as fast as they thought was safe and I was loaded into an ambulance and taken to an ER. My symptoms were already abating, so they took no further action beyond drawing quite a bit of blood and checking it for various things. They released me after three hours and there have been no lasting effects.

But I cannot take the second dose, nor can I take the Moderna version of the vaccine. I have been recommended to seek out the Johnson and Johnson one-shot version, hopefully by the end of the month. We’ll see how that goes. It is not going to be distributed through the large vaccine site where I got the Pfizer shot, so I might be on the hustle in some podunk CVS.
