I expect the usual shop owner in or near rough neighborhoods would be properly armed – but I’m pretty sure the actual ethnic Koreans would not be showing off any banned equipment but keeping it out of sight. Many of them grew up in Korea where gun ownership is very restricted so they understand how to keep that on the down low.

I have noticed at a few protests that I have seen personally in the Bay and at other protests for BLM and other lefty causes that the same signs with the same font were being used. A lot of them are from Refuse Fascism, which is an offshoot of the RevComs. They have been purposefully stoking resentment and fueling a lot of these protests for a while now.
The RevComs are dick deep in every ruckus in Chicago.

It’s not far off the mark. The Dems that rule unopposed in these cities have allowed this to fester and grow. They have encouraged it for christsakes. I was fairly sure this would happen with extended lockdowns and here it is right on schedule.
I wouldn’t have guessed the catalyst in a thousand years, but the result isn’t surprising. The only thing left to see is whether these riots fizzle out or whether they gain steam over the next week or two.
