The usual cast of moronic characters is here, but this time, the main character is the most insufferable woman I have ever seen in a movie. Shes an environmentalist (CLIMUT CHANGE WILL KILL UZ ALL!!!!!), a man hater (WE DONT NEED NO BIG STRONG MAN!!!), a dumbass bitch (she literally blows up the only avenue of escape from the sharks and no one calls her on it), and she’s one of the worst actresses I’ve ever seen. I think the original is a super fun movie, with a very cool setting and a pretty crazy cast. You got Samuel L Jackson, LL Cool J, Stellan Skarsgard, Thomas Jane all in one movie.
Yeah we really dig the first one as well. Its even referenced in this one, though only in passing in one scene. Some of the shark deaths were cool, but that seems to be all they were really going for. Not much of that foreboding that made earlier shark movies great.
I recall Deep Blue Sea being a fun movie. I didn’t know two more were made though.

Rep. Maxine Waters expressed confidence that a Black woman would be on the Democratic ticket as vice president.
In a Friday town hall with Essence, the California Democrat seemed certain Joe Biden would pick a Black woman as his running mate based on help he’s received from the Black community.
“Let me guarantee you this, based on everything that I know and understand, and the help that [Biden] has already gotten from the Black community…he can’t go home without a Black woman being VP,” Waters said. “We’re going to have a Black woman VP.”

So UC made it through the day…but later, as Tom T was putting the grill away, he says he heard a noise that was either a dog’s single yap or a cat in full battle mode.
I hope I see UC in the morning.
