I just got out of a marathon (8am-3:30pm) training on how to categorize articles properly, as in nuclear weapon related, nuclear energy related, other defense related, etc.

Honestly it was pretty interesting. We had some group exercises at the end where we worked through some scenarios with help from the instructors.
But there was one disturbing element: both instructors mentioned that our company is now being “pressured” to hire foreign nationals in order to avoid discrimination accusations. They tiptoed around it (they’re lawyers after all) but definitely hinted that it was due to the “current executive administration.”

Mom passed away about three weeks ago and we need to take her ashes to Montana so that she can rest next to Dad. Her Montana memorial is set for Sep 24. If all works, we would be there Friday the 16th.
