  1. R.J.

    I accept your pinball challenge.

    • MikeS

Adams Family was the best pinball game ever.

      • The Hyperbole

They had that at my regular bar for a while it was all right. On our machine when Morticia would say ‘gomez’ it sounded like ‘dumbass’.

      • DrOtto

        You misspelled Pinbot.

  2. The Hyperbole

I know there’s a customary 30 min. curtesy window before OT posts, but I also know that these puzzles aren’t everyone’s bag, baby. And as I’m not a thin-skinned whinger go ahead and feel free to OT on any of my posts at anytime.

    • MikeS

WTF is it with Glibs using the British “whinger” instead of the proper ‘Merican “whiner”?

      • Ted S.

I can’t be arsed to use proper American.

      • MikeS

        No shite.

    • MikeS

Also, now I feel like only commenting on-topic.

      • The Hyperbole

As I have explained many times ‘Whine’ is a noise, a hinge can whine, a dog can whine, ‘Whinge’ is an action that only humans can do. One may whine while they are whinging but It is not necessary. This is an important distinction when using words to convey meanings.

      • MikeS

That sounds good and all except every dictionary disagrees with you.

      • Fourscore

Can I whinge while I wheeze? Are those two things compatible?

      • MikeS

        Yes. But not while whacking.

      • MikeS

        whinge verb

        \ ˈ(h)winj \
        whinged; whinging or whingeing
        Definition of whinge
        intransitive verb

        British
: to complain fretfully : WHINE

      • Zwak. who's suit is as ragged as his nerves.

On a whinge and a prayer there, Hyp.

      • Urthona

        The proper term is kvetch.

    • MikeS

Just when I think you’re a total asshat, I read the clue for “P”. Excellent.

    • straffinrun

How long does this thing take on average?

      • Chafed

        That’s what she asked.

  3. rhywun

    I can’t even with E.

    • DrOtto

      He’s just being contrarian.

      • MikeS

        No he’s not!

      • rhywun

That’s the trick – you never know.

      • DrOtto

You’re just upset Pinbot is better than the Addam’s Family pinball machine.

      • MikeS

Let’s agree they are both better than Earfquake or whatever lame-ass shit drunken Hype played poorly back in ’94.

    • The Hyperbole

I’d heard the name back in the day but they were off my radar and I don’t really know their stuff, so I watched a half dozen of their shitty song on the you tubes and I stand by my assessment.

  4. Zwak. who's suit is as ragged as his nerves.

    Dag.

    • Zwak. who's suit is as ragged as his nerves.

All I am going to say is that I was out of the [ ] business too long

  5. rhywun

I gave up early but this one seems much fairer than previous episodes. Fewer mistakes 😛 and the word lengths are a nice touch.

I did get a fair number of clues.

The quote and source completely escape me.

  6. DEG

    Music is good.

    • MikeS

      ☝🏻

    • The Hyperbole

It’s also a cleverly disguised hint.

  7. cyto

So… housing bubble…. mortgage rates exploding to over 7%

inflation supposedly at 8%, yet everything I am buying js up more than 100%. (Just paid over 8 grand for an air conditioner that would have been well under 4 grand less than a year ago. Thanks, Joe!)

High interest and high real estate prices…. well, that cannot continue.

Everyone has been talking about a conspiracy to make us all renters with Blackrock buying up all the houses. Now, short stock and no way people can pay half million dollar mortgages at these rates….

I don’t know, but it sure seems like this administration is really trying to impoverish half the country. Inflation like this is a massively regressive tax. Interest rates can’t come down with 30? 40? Trillion in debt?

It almost seems like the powers that be knew the recounting was coming with the last of the boomers stepping into retirement…. so they said screw it and took a few trillion off the table while they could.

Funny that the CWPA actually said they were going to tear it down so they could rebuild a communist state. And the. Joe gets in with BLM at his back…. and…. well?

    • cyto

Last year in August I wrote about the then nonexistent inflation, saying that my 2 liter of diet mountain dew had gone from $1.25 to $2.50. I called BS on their zero inflation.

Well… name brand 2 liter sodas are now hitting $5 for the regular price.

We are not at 8% annual inflation. This is approaching Weimar Republic inflation.

      • rhywun

Yeah, if I had to guess I would say my grocery bill is at least 50% higher than it was two years ago. Some items, much more, some not.

      • straffinrun

Eventually even those items not effected now will see a rise in prices as people move to alternatives. It’s a recipe for disaster.

      • Shiny Nerfherder

The whole situation is a pressure cooker.

      • rhywun

I am really not enjoying living through the preface of all those dystopian novels I like.

      • MikeS

I know I’m damn spicy about it.

      • DrOtto

The items that price didn’t go up got magically lighter.

      • rhywun

Oh yeah, I’ve noticed that for decades.

      • Fourscore

I own 2 dozen Walmart Jumbo eggs for $3.19 @ each dozen today. Not sure how that is, inflation wise. Milk at Walmart is cheaper than gas at the corner convenience store. $3.49 vs 3.55 @ gallon.

      • cyto

Milk briefly hit $5 here, before retreating.

      • Shiny Nerfherder

Fuel and shipping costs disproportionately affect low price, bulky items.

      • Sean

        Like Winston’s mom?

    • Rebel Scum

I just wish my house had a fireplace. I have alternative/emergency heat, but that’s for temporary (up to a week) purposes, not all winter.

Blackrock buying up all the houses

And they are buying small ranches like mine. The Zillow estimate for my house is beyond retarded as a result. This shit won’t last. And while I’d like to get out of my neighborhood, I’d rather 1) not sell in this market no matter how much money I could make because there is no inventory for a similar house elsewhere and 2) I’d rather be paying to own something than be forced to rent.

      • rhywun

Rent includes heat here, almost universally.

Too bad it almost universally does not include electric.

      • Fourscore

I’m using the wood furnace during the transition period of summer to fall. A brief fire in the the morning heats up the house for all day, if the sun is shining. When the snow or cold weather come I won’t be able to safely carry in wood, though in a true emergency I would use wood.

I see some really hard to use property for sale at ridiculous prices. If it sells I’ll have to change my mind.

  8. Grumbletarian

    “Feature of cameras since 1979”

    Asians?

    • Shiny Nerfherder

      *goff crap*

  9. straffinrun

Which one of you freaks busted my pipeline while I was sleeping?

    • Shiny Nerfherder

I admit it. It was me.

There weren’t enough Germans scattered around the globe in all the best vacation spots so I decided to force the issue.

      • straffinrun

German and scat in the same sentence. *Does google search*

      • cyto

Apparently sleepy Joe admitted it by mistake….

      • Chafed

I assumed it was Straff’s wife.

      • Gustave Lytton

        That would be..straffinwife?

      • Chafed

        This time it’s… Strappinwife.

      • Plinker762

        Straponwife?

  10. Zwak. who's suit is as ragged as his nerves.

New puppy is galloping around the house with a tiny stuffed… something, I don’t know what, in her mouth.

I have a couple beers in me, and am grilling a London Broil on the stove.

It’s good to be the king.

    • straffinrun

Did you open the bottles of beer first?

      • Zwak. who's suit is as ragged as his nerves.

        Cans, good sir!

    • hayeksplosives

My three and a half month old kitten is doing his best impression of the Tasmanian Devil.

I hope he calms down soon. He’s getting “fixed” soon so that should help.

      • rhywun

LOL fun times – they are something at that age.

  11. DrOtto

So Texas Dept of Public Safety is bragging on their twitter how they stole, er civil forfeitured a Dodge Hellcat from some chump and it’s now a patrol car. One of the few times I wish I had a twitter account so I could post the FBIs $86 million heist and call TX DPS a bunch of pikers.

  12. hayeksplosives

What are you supposed to do when you get a $20 bill that you suspect is counterfeit? I didn’t notice at the time, but no machine will accept it, and on close comparison with another $20, it has certain features located slightly differently—very subtle.

Seems to have the watermark, which is hard to fake.

I think I’ll just take it to the bank and hope they have a protocol for taking them out of circulation.

    • Shiny Nerfherder

Will it roll into into a nice tight straw like configuration?

      • Sean

Post it notes are generally more sanitary.

      • MikeS

        They cost more than drugs.

    • MikeS

      Take it downtown and…

    • straffinrun

Does it say “legal tender”? That’s how you know it’s counterfeit.

    • R C Dean

Could be a rare (and valuable) misprinted bill.

      • MikeS

Could be valuable as a identified counterfeit, too. I know I’d like to have a good one in my collection.

    • Fourscore

“and hope they have a protocol for taking only the bill out of circulation”

If there’s 1 there may be more, watch carefully. Vegas/Pahrump is probably a good area to pass the phony paper, lots of tourists, etc.

    • rhywun

Careful they don’t lead you out in handcuffs.

I would probably say nothing and eat the loss.

      • Sean

        Stripper tip.

      • straffinrun

        Perfect.

    • MikeS

Could you ask a local service employee to borrow their counterfeit pen for a quick sec?

    • Rat on a train

Maybe you have a valuable misprint.

  13. KK the Porcine Pearl-Eater

Rowdy Roddy was great at it. But also funny af. And hot.

    • rhywun

I only know him from They Live and he was all of that in it.

  14. Plinker762

I must say that watching nineteen apache helicopters flying two abreast was pretty impressive. And I really enjoyed the 40 degree weather up here in Fairbanks and I got to miss the 90 degree weather in Spokane.

    • Rat on a train

I like when they play leapfrog across the training area.

  15. Brochettaward

Progs are complaining that Netflix labeled the Dahmer show LGBTQIA+ content.

    • rhywun

      Not just progs.

      It’s really tone-deaf.

      • R C Dean

Well, he was gay. As were his victims.

      • Brochettaward

Even Firsters have to own our blacksheep, rhywun.

      • MikeS

But if mass media is are going to be assigning these labels…

        I mean, it’s accurate.

      • rhywun

        Lesson: labels suck.

      • MikeS

        Without a doubt.

      • Certified Public Asshat

It is accurate, and I think does actually tell a story about how gays were treated in the late 80s/early 90s. It’s undeniably part of the entire story.

So yeah…drop the labeling or own this one.

      • Brochettaward

I tell you what, we’ll label this one true crime, but the gays have to take Oliver Stone’s Alexander The Great movie in return.

      • MikeS

        And JFK.

      • Brochettaward

You know, I might just be OK with Oliver Stone’s entire filmography.

      • MikeS

We should start shopping your Firsting story. Obviously everyone will want in. Who do we bring it to; Tarantino, Stone, CPRM, or Knoxville?

      • Brochettaward

My story would need to be told as an epic on the scale of Gilgamesh or the Iliad or the Aeneid. It could be centuries before there is someone born who can tell the tale of my exploits in their full glory. It may require more hours of film than the MCU, and it wouldn’t have a bunch of bullshit filler or devolve into trash just to fill air time. It will be the defining piece of art of the era in which it is told.

Tolkien may have been able to do it some justice. There would have to be a lot of tracing of bloodlines and the lore of Firsters which culminated in my existence.

      • Brochettaward

Young children will sleep with hand scribed copies of the work under their pillows. It will inspire all generations to come after it. That cannot just be left to the hands of some hack with a foot fetish, or a guy with an abnormally large taint like CPRM.

      • Festus

It’s going to be like the rest of the creation myths except this time there will come a Great Fud!

      • Stinky Wizzleteats

Give it to George Lucas, I’m sure he’ll do a fine job.

    • MikeS

      Wait…what about 2S?

  16. Festus

I don’t do Glibcrostic puzzles because Hype is a nerd! On a different and more hilarious note, in order to deal with the influx of homeless denizens in our city the powers that be are opening a bunch of SRO shelters to replace the older ones that either burnt down or were shut down by them. This time the buildings are newer. Some of them brand new. We’ve never had a problem with rats and roaches locally but that situation will change right quick. In fact the only time that I’ve seen rats is down by the rail yards and the one time that I caught a roach was after a trip to the city.

  17. Mojeaux

So Saturday night, while medical transcriptioning, I had four reports on the same young man. He had a gunshot wound to the chest. One report was his history and physical, and I could swear the doc was crying, but he allergy-sniffles all the time anyway. I did THREE separate operative notes on him. I figured a gunshot wound would garner news and it did. Anyway, he lived through the night. Today, I got a wild hare to check the news. He did not live through Sunday night. I won’t say WHY he was shot because that’s too much identifying information and you people can be smart sometimes, but it was a stupid reason. I will also say he needed to learn to aim better and faster.

    • MikeS

you people can be smart sometimes

      awww…shucks.

      • Festus

        Smaaahhht….

      • Brochettaward

She wasn’t talking about you. She was talking about big brain, high IQ type Firsters such as myself. Go second yourself in the corner.

    • Festus

Well that’s terrible. Almost as bad as finding the aftermath. Sorry for your struggle, Sweet Mojo.

  18. Festus

Step-daughter #2 slipped on the West Coast Trail. Busted her ankle. Not sure how she was evacuated but probably by helicopter. The Greenies have made sure that it remains as remote as possible. You are even supposed to carry out your own deficant. That is one rule that I will never agree to.

    • Festus

I mean that I will never shit in a bag and carry that out of the bush on my back. Cats shit outside everywhere. I don’t see wolves or bears covering up their scat.

    • Stinky Wizzleteats

      Shit, shovel, and shut up.

    • Rat on a train

Is the ground to hard for catholes?

      • Lackadaisical

I know some areas are just frequented that heavily… also lots of people don’t do a proper cathole.

Not sure if either is typically an issue there.

  19. Gustave Lytton

Price increases 50% this month. Divide by 12 to get an annualized rate. Hey! 4.25% inflation! Where’s my BEA sinecure?

  20. Festus

Ugh. Have to visit the Doctor on Thursday morning. It always feels like being called to the Principal’s office. Dude, I know that you know what I am. I’d blow it off if I could but I may need him in my back pocket later on. My blood pressure will be through the roof because who the fuck ever gets stressed out when being judged?

  21. whiz

It was almost midnight when I started the Glibcrostic, but it went fairly smoothly and I only needed 3 web searches (including the one you sanctioned). Didn’t know the quote, but it still helped once you start to see what is going on. Good job, Hype.

  22. Ownbestenemy

I gotta wake up early but this broken tooth is driving me mad. Time to make the dreaded dental appointment…unless this alcohol cure it…

    • Toxteth O'Grady

Owie. Poor thing. Which one? Do you have any whole cloves you can stick in it?

    • Sean

Sorry dude. Tooth related stuff sucks. I hope you have a good dentist.

  23. Brochettaward

No matter the content or context of what a Firster says, they can never be rude or loud. It is a blessing to even be acknowledged by a Firster in any manner.

I do not receive the proper amount of reverence from you people. I may have to take my talents to Zero Hedge to be fully appreciated.

  24. Gustave Lytton

Cascade Fryer Boil Out has apparently been discontinued. Fuck.

    • Sean

Still showing as available on Amazon.

  25. Brochettaward

    With the Russian pipeline shenanigans:
    1. This is an actual act of war in which Russia fully has the right to retaliate.
    2. It is only something you do if you don’t trust your European “allies” to hold through the winter
    3. I would bet everything I own that there are a lot of key figures on the left who stand to benefit from the destruction of competition to the new Baltic pipeline.

This shit is shadier and dumber than the Gulf of Tonkin.

    • Lackadaisical

did we actually bomb the Russians?

      • Rat on a train

We did on 11 August 1984.

    • Stinky Wizzleteats

The Germans had large protests just a few days ago demanding the pipelines be utilized over the winter and that’s obviously not an option now. Brinksmanship over the Ukraine with a nuclear power while fucking our allies in the process, if we are the ones who did it, has got to be the stupidest fucking foreign policy move since ever.

      • Brochettaward

I wouldn’t even call it brinksmanship. The point of brinksmanship is to call your opponents bluff. You have to leave them an out to do that. We have not left Russia an out here. We have backed them into a corner where, if it’s prove that the US did this, what the hell is left for Putin to do but to escalate? Attacking that pipeline is an outright act of war by the US against a nuclear power.

I saw our resident hall monitor earlier today try to suggest that this could have been Russia thumbing his nose at the EU…as if destroying his own infrastructure and getting rid of his own leverage with Europe makes any sense. Swiss will do anything to avoid admitting that it is in fact not Putin who is the madman in all of this and it’s only becoming increasingly clear as time goes on.

Then there’s the ridiculous story from Reuters someone posted where reportedly the CIA warned Germany of an attack during the summer. No details are given. No idea who they were warning may have wanted to attack the pipeline. Sounds totally legit to me…

      • Stinky Wizzleteats

The Russians almost seem to derive sexual pleasure every time they cut back the gas supply so I seriously they did it to themselves. As for us, maybe we did it or maybe we just bought off on it as it’s within the capabilities of just about every country in Europe (I’m looking at you UK, you water carriers you). I doubt there’ll be definitive proof as to who exactly who did it and in this case plausible deniability is king. The big losers here are the Europeans, the Russians can sell to someone else, particularly the common people and it’s a shame.

      • Lackadaisical

I’m not so sure regarding selling to others. Do they have other infrastructure to get the gas form point A to Point B? Worldwide, lots of natural gas is just burned off as there isn’t an economical way to ship it to somewhere useful.

Agree that it doesn’t make sense for Russia to do it, and if it was just 1, then that would have left the possibility of just shoddy construction- but that doesn’t seem to be the case.

      • Stinky Wizzleteats

That’s a good question regarding transport capabilities to alternative markets but Russia didn’t seem too concerned about reduced natgas revenue up to this point. Still, the intact pipelines and the gas that goes through them were a point of negotiation and soft power and them throwing that away was highly unlikely.

      • Lackadaisical

Yup, all the incentives would point to us. Now, What bargaining chip can Russia offer? Assuming it cannot be repaired? I suppose there are other pipelines, but they run through Poland and Ukraine, right?

      • Brochettaward

Well, you can’t cut back the supply of gas if the pipelines are taken out, now can you? No, Russia doing this makes zero sense. Energy is just about his only real leverage right now. The ability to offer it to Germany was the key to bringing Europe back to the negotiating table. Who doesn’t want Europe making peace with Russia?

      • robodruid

        Its bad for “business”

      • Stinky Wizzleteats

So are incoming Satan II missles.

      • Shiny Nerfherder

Russia would be destroying its supplier credibility with the SCO partners that its trying to develop.

    • Shiny Nerfherder

The propagandizing and lies of omission in the minimal Western coverage has been maddening to say the least.

Russia reduced gas supplies to Europe via Nord Stream 1 before suspending flows altogether in August, blaming Western sanctions for causing technical difficulties. European politicians say that was a pretext to stop supplying gas.

      https://www.reuters.com/business/energy/mystery-gas-leaks-hit-major-russian-undersea-gas-pipelines-europe-2022-09-27/

We know exactly why NS1 is in reduced flow. Germany is holding the turbine parts. Reuters is being coy here. Putin has been saying for months that all Germany has to do is turn the NS2 pipeline on.

The crazy SOBs are going to try to pin the sabotage on Russia, while the true believers (Poland and the National Review) are celebrating the vandalism.

And then there’s this little tidbit:

      https://www.pipeline-journal.net/news/explosive-laden-drone-found-near-nord-stream-pipeline

Explosive-Laden Drone Found Near Nord Stream Pipeline – November 2015

This is an energy war long in the planning. The US obviously cannot abide an energy independent Europe or a Europe that gets along with Russia.

  26. Sean

It’s in the 40s. My poor pepper plants. 😢

    • Sean

I only have three of the five varieties bearing fruit right now. 😕

One of which was the wrong peppers. Thanks Pepper Joe.

I’m gonna try cloning over winter.

Been a low year for my super hots. *Kif sigh*

    • Lackadaisical

hilarious, but also, bullshit tackle at the end there. What is the crime? Oh no, trespass.

    • Lackadaisical

      I shouldn’t laugh, but I can’t help it.

  27. Sean

    Good morning Glibs.

    • UnCivilServant

      Morning, Sean.

*sigh* Vacation’s over, I have to go into the office.

      • Sean

        😃☕

      • UnCivilServant

I haven’t got any caffiene. I drank the last of my vacation stock and haven’t gotten to the grocery store yet. I have to pick some up on my way to the office, but the store isn’t open until 6.

    • Plinker762

I guess 2am is the morning.

    • Gender Traitor

Good morning, Sean, U, Plinker, Lack, Stinky, and RoaT!

I missed trying out the acrostic last night, so let’s see how well I do on only a few sips of coffee..

    • Lackadaisical

You have good local news. Also, whats with the four eyes? Whats a cactus something or other?

    • Stinky Wizzleteats

Around here a quart of malt liquor would be more appropriate. Offer some Mickeys and I’d even be game.

    • Stinky Wizzleteats

Is that 90g of carbs per serving? That’s impressive.

    • Lackadaisical

      looks disgusting.

The older I get ,the less sweets entice me. Going to tell the wife to start getting me birthday steaks instead of birthday cakes.

      • Stinky Wizzleteats

Same here, I even cut out the sugar in my coffee. A few grains of salt cuts the bitterness just as good as sweetness.

      • Lackadaisical

That is the one thing I’ve kept doing, but I’ve heard of the salt trick before, but only commie scandies do it.

    • Lackadaisical

Did she bring in a white guy for some interracial?

    • Lackadaisical

That has to be shopped? If not, apply 1 bag to the face and I’m game.

  28. Lackadaisical

I blame Sean for my finding this:

    https://ktla.com/news/local-news/pursuit-end-on-15-freeway-in-hesperia-is-possibly-related-to-fontana-abduction/

“A homicide suspect and his abducted 15-year-old daughter were shot and killed by law enforcement during a pursuit and gunfight along the 15 Freeway in Hesperia Tuesday morning.”

Amazing wording there, a gun discharge or anything. Must be a glib writer on their staff.

“The girl was apparently wearing tactical gear when she ran toward deputies and was fatally shot.”

    Good shoot. /cops

“Dicus said it is unclear if the teen was armed when she ran toward deputies, or if she fired at deputies at any time during the dangerous pursuit, but only one weapon, a rifle, was recovered from the scene.”

If it is ‘not clear’ if she had a gun, I am guessing she didn’t.

“Dicus called the investigation “complex,” and indicated his department will be looking at any video taken during the chaos.”

‘We have a lot of video to delete’ he added.

    • Stinky Wizzleteats

Probably just some panicky cops shooting at someone advancing on them during a highly stressful situation. We find we did nothing wrong due to the totality of the circumstances.

      • Rat on a train

It’s San Berdoo. The tactical gear was all that was needed.

    • Shiny Nerfherder

      Nice nutpunch there Lack. Thanks.

      • Lackadaisical

Like I said, it is all Sean’s fault.

      • Sean

        /shrug

The weather is just starting up here.

A light rain began at 5. seems like we’ll miss most of the fun… praying for the south Florida peeps.

  30. DEG

    Mornin’ all.

    Gym time.

  31. UnCivilServant

I only has 6280 emails waiting for me when I got to the office.

I’m going to have a breakfast salad before sorting them

    • UnCivilServant

Okay, outlook outright lies because some emails were apparently archived to the cloud (something I can’t turn off) so I’ve deleted 8450 emails out of those 6280 and have 625 left to sort through

      • UnCivilServant

Woot! Only 544 I actually have to read.

      • Gender Traitor

::punches numbers into calculator:: I think that means you now have to write 1545 e-mails before you’ll be completely caught up. 🤔

      • Stinky Wizzleteats

Wait, you’re serious? What kind of freaking job requires that many emails?

      • UnCivilServant

        I’m serious.

I’m a State IT Manager of a group at the core of a major project. Everyone wants to talk to me. They don’t want to listen to me, but they want to talk to me.

      • UnCivilServant

Oh, and some of those were automated. Those have a short shelf life, so I only need worry about the 544 emails I had left over.

      • Rat on a train

When I was a development team lead I rarely got time to code between all the emails and meetings.

      • Shiny Nerfherder

        I can believe it.

In my previous career as an engineering manager that coordinated between multiple manufacturing and design facilities, I would get bombarded with hundreds of emails daily.

Most of it was just people copying me and others in so they could later say that we knew about it and obviously approved of it because we didn’t raise an objection.

So are incoming Satan II missles.

I agree. But they think they can control it.
    The track record is poor.

    • UnCivilServant

Wait, they’re Satan II missiles? We ordered Santa II missiles. Get me your manager!

      • Grosspatzer

MANAGER MOHAMMAD HERE. GOT A PROBLEM?

      • robodruid

The request for bid clearly labeled the request for “Satan II”
You need to contact the Army Core representative and get a mod done.
They wont be available until the end of the FY. And they don’t have capacity to mod the contract until after the missiles “land”
Acceptance upon delivery is not required.
Thank you and have a good day.

Covfefe to all, its time to pull my beer from the backyard and store it in the basement, freeze warnings have begun.

::narrows gaze suspiciously at UPS tracking page:: Last night my package was shown as having arrived in Urbancrest (Columbus), OH yesterday evening. This morning, there’s no progress reported since it left Bensenville (Chicago/O’Hare), IL, Monday evening…

    • Grosspatzer

      Mornin’, GT.

      Someone did this:

DELETE FROM TRACKING WHERE DESTINATION = ‘CASA GT’ AND DATE >= ‘SEP 28 2022’

      • Gender Traitor

Good morning, ‘patzie! Hey – ‘birds clinched the NL Central! Technically, their magic number is 1, but their record against the damn Brewers is 10-8, I believe, so playoffs here we come! 😃⚾

      • Grosspatzer

Huzzah! Meanwhile we are now tied with the Braves. Down to the wire.

      • Gender Traitor

I’m always happy to root against the Braves!

    • Gender Traitor

Ah HAH! Now they’re tracking the package as being in Columbus as of last night – again.

They’re just messing with me now.

      • UnCivilServant

It’s just a backend cache mismatch. You must not have paid enough for the Shipping IT.

C’mon Jack, I already got out of the sack and walked to my puter. I don’t even remember the last time I saw 7am. Slackers!

      • Tres Cool

      • Hyperion
