Very nice! Banks, Pelosi, The Donald. It has it all!

    • Festus

      Oh, and First!

      • Brochettaward

Festus still has some fight to him. Take that walker and throw it into a ditch.

      • The Gunslinger

Festus as a first? What kind of skullduggery is this?

      • R.J.

        I appreciate you too, Festus.

From Dedthred – RE: KKG “Woman”

I’m willing to bet that many of those women have boyfriends and that some subset of those boyfriends are significantly bigger, stronger and tougher than the “woman” and that some subset of those big, strong, tough boyfriends are prone to violence. I would also be willing to bet that a jury in Wyoming is unlikely to convict if said “woman” is suddenly found beaten into a coma in some cow pasture.

Maybe just let nature take its course here…

    • R C Dean

My random observation of males on college campus these days is that many of them, maybe not quite most, are shockingly effeminate.

So that subset may be smaller than you think.

      • juris imprudent

And there are far more females on campus, so the males that are available, and desirable, command a real premium.

      • Michael Malaise

I went to a university that was 68% male at the time I attended. : (

      • slumbrew

MIT is still mostly men; my female co-worker attended and still has her t-shirt “MIT Men – the odds are good but the goods are odd”.

      • rhywun

        lol

        It’s good to branch out.

      • rhywun

This is all so fucking stupid and unnecessary. The climate cultists want to wreck everything but it’s good to see some signs of normies pushing back.

When is that going to happen here in the US? Or are we just oblivious frogs?

      • Chafed

It will happen here. When food prices keep rising and union jobs start disappearing because of this stupidity,

      • Gustave Lytton

union jobslaptop and public sector jobs

      • Chafed

        That’s a great(and true) shirt.

      • slumbrew

TBF, she’s more than a bit odd herself.

There was this adorable MIT student I used to see on the T when I regularly went to the office (which is right near campus).

        *le sigh*

      • whiz

I went to a university that was 68% male at the time I attended. : (

Pfft, that’s nothing! When I first entered college, the male/female ratio was 8.6:1. (University of Missouri-Rolla, now Missouri University of Science and Technology.)

    • Chafed

      Sometimes things just happen.

  3. Spudalicious

    Nice, CPRM!

    • R.J.

Indeed. Hat and Hair was most welcome tonight !

  4. dbleagle

Huzzah! The H&H hit all the points. A perfect palate cleanser after a SF day.

    • hayeksplosives

      Right?!?

      Needed something wholesome.

This was an ideal humpday, content-wise!

      Thanks, CPRM and SF!!!

  5. Brochettaward

I am working on a new project. The UberFirster Brigade. It will be an elite unite of The Golden Firsters who I feel will be able to deliver a decisive blow in the war against seconding. It came to me in a dream, as many of my great Firsts do.

The First That Shall Change Everything remains in incubation, but it grows mightier by the second.

  6. Chafed

This explains a lot CPRM. Thanks for a peak behind the curtain.

  7. Mojeaux

I really want to strangle this doctor I’m transcribing. I mean, most of them need strangling at one point or another, but this one’s in a special class. I pity the lady who usually transcribes this doc.

I used to work for a company that said, “Work as though the patient’s life depends on it–because it does!” and “Be able to defend your work on a witness stand!”

Um. No. If you’re depending on a 5th-tier healthcare typist who’s paid peanuts to transcribe unintelligible gibberish to be able to testify in your malpractice suit with any credibility whatsoever, you’re off your rocker. Hey, doc. Get those marshmallows out of your mouth and check over the note before you sign off on it. Buck stops with you, doc. Don’t blame the transcriptionist.

    • Chafed

This helps to explain some of what I read in medical records.

      • Mojeaux

        Also voice recognition.

    • Brochettaward

Doctors are too important to write legibly. Or intelligibly.

      • Mojeaux

They don’t even have to write. All they have to do is enunciate their words.

  8. slumbrew

Ugh, that shitty Pixies cover in the new Apple ad

  9. Sir Digby Classic

Wait–is THIS where all the comments on your ‘toons are?

I mean, I get that YT is cesspool-ish, but bruh…

(got wife beatin’, medical records…apple ads! SMH)

    Evening, y’all.

    • CPRM

No great artist is appreciated in their time. I’ll bury 1,000,000 copies of Hat and Hair Laser Discs, and future generations will think it was was the most successful cartoon ever!

      • Sir Digby Classic

Put them on Atari 2600 cartridges to REALLY mess with peoples’ heads!

      • CPRM

That just made me remember one of the episodes I never produced. It was going to be a Mario variant where Level 1 was the hair jumping ANTIFA goons like Goombas on level 1 of Super Mario Bros, then going into ‘warp tube’ at the end of the stage, where then it was The Hat in a dungeon level going through the JFK hooker tunnels fighting WUNAFUDs and then that warp tube led to the Presidential shitter and at the end “Donald is in another Whitehouse”. It proved too complicated for me to pull off.

      • Sir Digby Classic

**Taps plays softly in the background**
Oh, the Graveyard of Discarded Episodes! How I love, and loathe, that place…

/Just tell everyone that the graphics would’ve put too much strain on the RTX 3090s

      • CPRM

An FYI the April 5th 7pm article is an As Seen On TV about lesser known Adult Swim shows that have inspired me, in case you want to drop in on that one.

      • hayeksplosives

        Atari???

        Ancient Intellivision or GTFO!!

        πŸ€£πŸ˜€

These kids today will never know the pain of having to set the TV to channel 2 for Intellivision and then back to channel 3 for VCR (a top-loading JVC, natch)

      • Rat on a train

I used channel 3 since 2 was CBS. Also, I have a working Intellivision II in my basement.

  10. Sean

    Morning Glibs!

    Great episode CPRM πŸ‘πŸ‘

    • hayeksplosives

      But aren’t they all?!

The good author himself breezed through the Wednesday zoom last evening. πŸ‘

    • Gender Traitor

Good morning, Sean, hayek, NA, U, and ‘bodru!

  11. Not Adahn

Just to say — I watched this pre-release since youtube recommended it to me.

  12. UnCivilServant

I was gone for all of twenty minutes and someone crammed a truck into my parking spot, which was far too small for a pickup, but if I light the truck on fire, suddenly I’m the asshole.

    • Gender Traitor

Well, it must be there waiting to pick up your trash, right?

      • UnCivilServant

I’m sorry, I’m just in a bad mood this morning. Hopefully some breakfast will fix that.

      • Grosspatzer

Burn the heretic truck. That ought to fix it.

  13. robodruid

    Good Morning All:
Have to drive this AM to another AFB to help brief commander on PFAS.
    (yay)

    Advice:
Its not really that much fun to be dragged by juvenile cow along the dirt as you try to pull a to small bridle off of them. They sort of object to all of it.

    • Gender Traitor

My first insufficiently caffeinated reading of your comment interpreted “brief commander” as “commander for not very long,” so I thought, “No wonder s/he needs help.”

      • robodruid

Well, either way you are not wrong. AF tends to rotate these people fairly quickly. I think ABW commander leaves in 4 months.
I don’t necessarily understand because I don’t normally deal with them. (FEDGOV drone)

      • Gender Traitor

Also – just consider the incident with the young cow to be training for your next potential career in the rodeo.

      • Gender Traitor

Was just thinking of that – one of my all-time favorites to sing! πŸ₯°

  14. Grosspatzer

    Mornin’, reprobates.

Brrr. 30 degrees is way too cold for March 30. Where’s my spring?

    • WTF

      Climate Change strikes again!

      • Fourscore

-7 in Podunkville, snow again later. Next week is forecast a major dump, 14 inches but subject to change. Al Gore is gonna need to write a new book.

    • Gender Traitor

Good morning, ‘patzie! Inorite?? 28 here, and clear enough that I probably have to scrape frost off my car windows before I head out. πŸ˜’

      • Gender Traitor

Lovely! I think there’s still hope for our magnolia, but I’m nervous it’s going to get frost-nipped when the current buds start opening (any day now.)

    • rhywun

I woke up at 4am with a gust of that blowing through my windows and shivering. WTF.

    • Shirley Knott

17 here in “lovely” mid-Michigan. There’s a reason the ‘safe planting date’ for home veggie gardens is Memorial Day.

  15. Grosspatzer

    * offers heartfelt prayer to the gods of remote work*

    • Rat on a train

      COVID’s silver lining

      • Lackadaisical

Yup. Too bad I don’t get to do it everyday.

Instead I’m wasting 150 hours a year commuting half the time. I think 1-2 days in the office is plenty.

      • Sean

        I’m wasting 150 hours a year

All that valuable porn watching time.

      • Rat on a train

I wasted much time on commuter trains over 18 years.

  16. Lackadaisical

This was a good one, nice job cprm.

    • Fourscore

Me too, CPRM, your efforts are appreciated.
