IFLA: The “Igloos?” Edition of the Horoscope for the week of Jan 21

by | Jan 21, 2024 | IFLA | 246 comments

Obviously, this predates the snow. It’s been too cold lately to take the gloves off and get the phone to work.

Ok, so there are some contradictory signs going on here. Midweek we get the truly excellent alignment of Venus and Jupiter with the Sun.  That’s a nearly impossible happening to read a bad omen into, and it’s also hard to improve without adding potential downsides.  But then the very next day we’ve got four planets showing disorder and violence. If Jupiter retrograde was present, this would be the sign for civil war. But it’s not so it’s not. Fortunately, that alignment only lasts a day, whereas the good sign continues on until next week.

Capricorn: The High Priestess reversed – Passion, moral or physical ardor, conceit, surface knowledge.

Aquarius: The Magician – Skill, diplomacy, address, subtlety; sickness, pain, loss, disaster, snares of enemies; self-confidence, will

Pisces: Justice reversed – Injustice

Aries: 3 of Wands reversed – The end of troubles, suspension or cessation of adversity, toil and disappointment.

Taurus: 7 of Cups reversed – Desire, will, determination, project.

Gemini: 2 of Cups reversed – Broken promises, fights among friends, something good ending badly

Cancer: 8 of Coins reversed – Voided ambition, vanity, cupidity, exaction, usury.

Leo: King of Cups reversed – Dishonest, double-dealing man; roguery, exaction, injustice, vice, scandal, pillage, considerable loss.

Virgo: 10 of Wands reversed – Contrarieties, difficulties, intrigues, and their analogies.

Libra: King of Wands reversed – Good, but severe; austere, yet tolerant.

Scorpio: The Hanged Man reversed – Selfishness, the crowd, body politic.

Sagittarius: King of Swords – Judgment, power, command, authority, militant intelligence, law.

I go back and forth on how she’ll do here in NH on Tuesday.

I used to think that because of Sununu, that she’ll clinch third again. But, I see really nothing from DeSantis this last week.

        We’ll see soon enough.

      • Lackadaisical

I think she’s a shoe in for second this time. For some reason Desantis had never pulled well in NH.

    Nice dog videos.

Dishonest, double-dealing man; roguery, exaction, injustice, vice, scandal, pillage, considerable loss.

    Sufficiently shitty.

    • R.J.

Jeez, I may just take a nap all week.

      • Aloysious

And pass up an opportunity to pillage? These things don’t come along every day.

I recommend a nice non-profit or NGO. Soft targets.

        Damn! That looks quite complex.

My wife is getting back into it but is struggling with getting over that initial start. Also knitting. And quilting.

      • Mojeaux

Maybe this will inspire. She should browse the new offerings if she’s been out of it for a while. Tons of cute stuff on Etsy and here My Bobbin. The Russian and Ukrainian designers are fantastic.

Let me know if she’d like a list of the Etsy shops I frequent and I’ll give you my email address.

      • Gustave Lytton

Thank you! I think she’s good for now, just the doing it part.

      • Lackadaisical

        ‘just the doing it part.’

My wife had the same problem.

  6. KK, Plump & Unfiltered

The end of troubles, suspension or cessation of adversity, toil and disappointment.

    So…more doom & gloom?

I have not partaken of any roguery, vice and pillage in awhile – this could be an interesting week.

  9. The Late P Brooks

    Paging Elizabeth Warren

It’s tough to say how buy now, pay later fits into the country’s overall debt picture. Providers that offer the service don’t typically disclose how often those bills go unpaid, and the debts aren’t reported to credit bureaus. Klarna, PayPal and Affirm all declined to share buy now, pay later delinquency rates with CNBC.

    ——-

The opacity surrounding the novel service has created a so-called phantom debt phenomenon that has left economists, regulators and even shoppers concerned about the effect it could have on the economy.

“It’s just this nebulous cloud of debt. Nobody really knows how it works and it’s just floating around us all the time and it definitely feels like a pending housing crisis, almost like 2008 but for shopping,” Andersen joked. “That’s the myth that Klarna and PayPal sell you on, is that you can have this lifestyle, you can have these things, but the truth is, you can’t.”

A very thinly veiled appeal for regulation, to save these dopey schmoes from themselves. It’s for their own good. The credit card monopoly couldn’t be behind it. Definitely not.

    • Ted S.

“That’s the myth that Klarna and PayPal sell you on, is that you can have this lifestyle, you can have these things, but the truth is, you can’t.”

You can only do that if you’re the government and can inflate your debt away.

      • creech

But aren’t “we the government?”. That’s what I learned in Social Studies.

    • rhywun

    TANKLESS WATER HEATER, PLEASE

    • R.J.

Yeah. Those are fantastic. Is it an option for you?

      • KK, Plump & Unfiltered

I hope so – lots of RVs have them. I’m going to ask the RV repair guy about it. I think it’ll be about a grand. WORTH IT

      • R.J.

It’s worth it for 2 grand.

that’s the way it is at this latitude….choices

Of course it’s the left. They could be using it as a deliberate deception. They are, after all, nothing if not mendacious.

“Trump sets the pace”. Objectively true. Paces can be fast or slow. Both parties and their chiefs set the pace of fascism in the U.S. Trump’s pace, if we can believe him, will be a bit slower. If (when?) He wins he will be the pace setter.

  13. Suthenboy

As for the R primaries everyone but Trump is angling for an admin position or in it for the donations. That Trump has the nomination is a foregone conclusion.

    • Lackadaisical

Agreed, it’s a joke to watch it for anything other than entertainment.

I don’t understand the rich guys who waste money giving to these stooges. Insurance I guess?

Trump is the same age as Biden and confused Pelosi and Haley. You bet you your ass it’s insurance.

  14. Tres Cool

    So DeSantis drops out?

I feel like I should be surprised but Im not for some reason.

    • Fourscore

So Nikki moves into 2nd place. Her big chance coming up in a couple days. Now neither Nikki or Donnie will have to prepare for debates.

We won’t DeSantis to kick around anymore.

      • Suthenboy

Haley is all in on pointless fake wars so the establishment desperately wants her. Trump should have no problem mopping the floor with her cute ass on that alone.

      • Lackadaisical

If Trump was a little smarter he would have kept Desantis in a little longer.

A lot of their base is the same, but I do don’t what eat good primary voters will break.

      • Lackadaisical

“A lot of their base is the same, but I do don’t what eat good primary voters will break.”

That’s some class A authentic frontier gibberish.

        What I meant was:

A lot of their base (Desantis and Trump) is the same, but I do wonder what way Desantis’s primary voters will break.”

      • Suthenboy

Meh, I just figured you were drunk.

      • Lackadaisical

I wish, just autocorrected. To nonsense.

    • DEG

      Yep

      • DEG

I’m going to sit the primary out.

I’m registered undeclared so I could so something like switch to Democrat and vote Vermin Supreme, but that takes time and I’m not going to take the time to do it.

      • Tres Cool

Is the guy still alive? Or a write-in?

      • dbleagle

Not voting for Paperboy Love Prince? Racist!!!!!!

      • R.J.

Problem is, all the Democrats have nothing better to do than go vote for Icky Nikki.

      • Don escaped Texas

        you’re correct to hate Nikki

but there is no correct answer before us

      • DEG

Only those registered undeclared can reregister at the polls as a party taking part in the primary.

If they’re already registered Democrat, the deadline to switch party registration for the presidential primary was in October.

      • Zwak says the real is not governable, but self-governing.

Correct me if I am wrong, but due to D fuck ups, Biden isn’t on the ballot, and they have to write him in. But, if they cross register to vote for Nikki, they can’t write him in, no?

        Quite the conundrum.

      • DEG

The DNC wanted to change the order of primaries and caucuses. Officially the reason is to have more “diverse” states early on in the process, but I think the real reason is Biden did poorly in early primaries/caucuses like Iowa and New Hampshire. They pushed a rule change down on order of primaries and caucuses.

Iowa Democrats and the DNC came up with a compromise: Iowa holds its caucus on the regular day, but only for voting on party business. Determining the nominee is done through mail-in voting which ends sometime in March. I think Biden is one of the options in Iowa.

New Hampshire has a primary which state law states must be held before any other states’ primaries. The legislature would not change the law, so the NH primary goes on as planned. The DNC will not recognize any delegates from NH. The DNC will penalize any candidate which is on the ballot in NH and/or campaigns in NH.

Biden is not on the NH Democrat primary ballot and has not set foot in NH since the DNC announced the rule changes.

There are a group of Democrats that think if Biden doesn’t win the NH primary, then that would look bad in the press. They’re running a write-in campaign for him. The most prominent Democrat politician involved is MA Governor Maura Healey. I think these people are wrong: The press outside of NH won’t cover the NH Democratic primary at all. So it doesn’t matter. Biden isn’t involved in this campaign, so the DNC won’t penalize him.

    • rhywun

I am not surprised because he is objectively better than Donald or Nikki on any measure I can think of.

      • Lackadaisical

        I think that’s true.

Sad to see his exit. I think in the postmortem it will be obvious that he should have waited 4 years. But then, his polling was good, until Trump was indicted 57 times by the Democrats, which only supercharged Trump.

      • grrizzly

A part of the GOP establishment was behind DeSantis. Also, pretending that the 2020 Presidential election was fair and free is not a minor thing. DeSantis was too dependent on his donors. Once he expressed an opinion that the war in Ukraine was not important for the USA, just a border conflict on the other side of the globe. It enraged one of his mega-donors and DeSantis adjusted his position in just a couple of days. And then he signed a hate crime/speech law in Israel. WTF?

  15. Evan from Evansville

Ev is a bit more stable now. But still floating in uncertainty.

It’s an odd existence, mine. Tomorrow is going to suck, and fingers crossed it sucks as little as possible.

    • R.J.

You haven’t even gotten to tomorrow yet. Declaring it sucks already is defeatist.

      • Evan from Evansville

Just looking at my schedule. I sent my formal letter of complaint to Outpatient on Friday. No reply yet. So a 6:pre-scheduled 9-10 appt with my ‘Case Coordinator’ and we’ll go over it. Then I have Group from 10-11:30. Then work from 1:45-6:15 or so. It’s just going to be an emotional day.

I’m not worried, really. Just several Game Faces to wear and goals to accomplish, juggling my emotions across a psychological tightrope. I’m prepared for it. I just hate waiting on-deck. When I get in, I’m good to go. Sitting there, twisting my bat (these euphemisms are getting more athletic) gets my neurotransmitters aflutter. That brings out fun symptoms.

I feel better at least, and I know I’ll be fine. But just put me in, coach. Idle hands, waitin’ on the bench, ain’t no good for me. I’m less of a wreck than I was. Plus me.

  16. KK, Plump & Unfiltered

      • KK, Plump & Unfiltered

        Yeah likewise, Grizzly Lebowski

    • Not Adahn

      Where did you take it?

  17. Suthenboy

Can anyone name one thing we have gotten out of the fake wars of the last 20 years? I mean other than scars and fitting our children for coffins or artificial arms and legs. The establishment is backing Haley because she agreed to be a war monger.

I think there is a sunk cost phenomena going on about that. People are afraid to admit that their family members were sacrificed for nothing. They cant face it so they lie to themselves about superficial patriotism and heroism.

Trump could shoot Nikki down with that alone. Well, the first part anyone. He should keep his mouth shut about the second part.

    • rhywun

Depends on whether “we” includes military contractors.

      • Suthenboy

I should have been more specific. That is what I was getting at.

    • Don escaped Texas

      All that is fair enough.

But where does war mongering fit in the pantheon of issues?

Suppose we throw some things out there
      * size of government
      * size of debt / value of the currency
      * property rights
      * expression rights
      * preservation rights (defense of person, right to carry, etc)
      * abortion
Don’t most of the candidates disqualify themselves on one of these?

It is well and good to hold Haley to account, but what is our priority and who fills that bill?

      • Lackadaisical

I’m not a Dave Smith clone who thinks war is the biggest possible issue.

Sure, it’s evil and a waste of money, but in the end they are foreigners and volunteers involved. The foreigners I will admit to carrying less about and the volunteers signed up for it.

Size of government has to be the single biggest issue because it informs all the rest. No one is good on it.

      • rhywun

What’s worse is nobody votes on that.

      • juris imprudent

        Average Republican voter response: U S A!!! U S A!!! U S A!!! U S A!!!

    • westernsloper

You are anti war now? What caused this?

      • Suthenboy

I was never pro-war. There are actions we should have taken but never the ones we did.

I managed to avoid lions, tigers and bears….so far. Somewhere around here I have a small bull shark’s tooth I pulled out of my left foot.

I plan on sliding into the gates of hell late for the appt. ragged as hell, freshly screwed, and slightly drunk.

      • juris imprudent

Yeah, happily (haA!) this is just bruises. Last two days wind’s been blowing like a thousand dollar whore, and the snow that came down was powder – so anything you shoveled once, you shoveled a couple of more times. We’ll be going down to Florida next month and I am really looking forward to that.

I walk slowly and carry a big stick. My walking stick is a big bladed ice scraper that bites in to the ice. Falling down is not an option, at least not a voluntary one, particularly on ice. I hold on to everything available.

Damn it, you guys/gals, be extra careful, we need each and every Glib, healthy, hopefully wealthy and already wise.

Probably why I didn’t buy, but during cold snaps up north, it might be worth it.

Fun fact- Grandma Tres has (had- shes dead) that identical recipe hand-written in what I guess was 1920 or so. The difference is that her’s calls for “scalded milk”.

Anyhow- the current one calls for 1 cup of boiling water. I was wondering if any of our culinary chemists can tell me what role the “boiling water” plays, as opposed to
    hot, tepid, or cold water.

    • Mojeaux

LMGTFY: “it helps to dissolve and ‘bloom’ the cocoa to bring out as much flavor with as few cocoa lumps as possible”

Sometimes the recipe calls for hot coffee.

      • Tres Cool

I learn new shit every day whether I want to or not.

      • Fourscore

I don’t, I’m still relearning the old shit. Someone keeps changing the back of cereal boxes, I have a tough time keeping up.

  26. Mojeaux

I’m unreasonably happy for the Lions. I have 0 ties to Detroit, but they’ve done well and they deserve this.

    • Raven Nation

So I didn’t watch the old game but I have two questions:

      1. Why did TB go for a two point conversion.

      2. Why didn’t TB call their last time out and force the lions to punt?

      • slumbrew

Re #1, Collinsworth was trying to explain it but the analytics say that’s the right thing to do.

    • Gender Traitor

Having lived to see the Cubbies win the World Series, I think it would be nice to also see a team like the Lions or the Browns win the Super Bowl.

      • Gender Traitor

…but even nicer to see the Bengals do so. 😁

      • Tres Cool

        HAH!

      • Raven Nation

I will also give you Cronulla-Sutherland, Footscray, and Melbourne Football Club.

    • rhywun

I was more rooting against TB but yes, Detroit can use this.

      • juris imprudent

If we end up with Buffalo and Detroit, they have to switch the site to Cleveland.

      • Mojeaux

        Superbowl: Lions v Ravens

        /realist

    • RBS

I work with a lot of Lions fans. I would be really happy for them if the Lions win it all. But also it would be hilarious if the lose the Super Bowl in some perfect Lions way.

    • Zwak says the real is not governable, but self-governing.
  27. Sensei

Now that’s some spin worthy of Team Biden.

“If there was any case of targeting civilians; it happened accidentally and in the course of the confrontation with the occupation forces,” read the report.

It added that “maybe some faults happened” during the attack “due to the rapid collapse of the Israeli security and military system, and the chaos caused along the areas near Gaza.

“Many Israelis were killed by the Israeli army and police due to their confusion,” it added.

    https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2024/1/21/hamas-says-october-7-attack-was-a-necessary-step-admits-to-some-faults

Mistakes were made, but it was friendly fire.

    • juris imprudent

Those hostages just thought a little side trip to Gaza would be a nice adventure.

      • Sensei

We all know this wasn’t meant for western audiences and will serve its intended purpose.

I’ve got to admit I don’t think I would have come up with “friendly fire”. Props.

      • juris imprudent

Well, I don’t understand the mind that can say “the Israelis were to blame/did it” and never mind the hostages that Hamas is still holding and not even pretending otherwise.

      • rhywun

George Orwell had a thing or two to say about the ability to “know” contradictory facts.

      • juris imprudent

To believe in nothing except fear as I recall.

      • rhywun

Well, yeah it leads there eventually but first, it’s just another adaptation the brain has to make in order to deal with totalitarianism.

      • Suthenboy

As pointed out this is not meant for western consumption.
The people it is aimed at are so bone-crushingly ignorant that it defies belief. In addition to that they have a very strong bias.
They will. swallow it hook, line and sinker.

      • grrizzly

When you think that Israel is an occupying power, then almost every action against it is justified. It’s not just Arabs, in 1946 a Zionist group felt it appropriate to bomb the King David Hotel in Jerusalem. 91 people were killed.

      • Not Adahn

Are those people being celebrated today the way that the palis in Munich and on the Achile Lauro are?

    • Suthenboy

They must be realizing the end is near.
So, when are the Israelis going to shoot a missile into the Hamas leader’s luxury hotel room in…is it Qatar or Bahrain?

      • westernsloper

        #notprowaratall

      • Suthenboy

        I never said I was a pacifist.

  28. westernsloper

Now that there is no more glib fit, and having read UCS’s comment the other day, (good job UCS)! I am going to post my keto dinner tonight. This will turn into lunches for the week as well
. I have been on a 6 month fuck off of food failure and gained ten pounds and I feel like an asshole for it. Sure, many of you will say that is not why I am an asshole but GFYS. You’re the asshole. I buy the big ass package of chicken thighs at Walmart and do this:
Skin and debone. reserve skin to feed to dog and bones for broth
Chop thigh meat in food processor’
    add:2T chopped garlic
    2 T basil paste
    a couple t’s coconut aminos
a splash or two liquid aminos
    1/4 C rice vinegar
    some salt
    some pepper
    some ginger powder
fry up some onions and throw that in………..When cooked through, throw in a bag of cole slaw mix and cook until ….whenever you want to say its done……. put it in a bowl to eat or use as taco filling or whatever. At least it isn’t a hot pocket. stop eating processed food and the world would be a better place.

    • westernsloper

PS: 4 qt’s bone broth simmering in the crock pot. Eat well!

      • The Hyperbole

‘Bone broth’ Fuckin’ neo-hippie shit. It’s stock.

  29. Lackadaisical

Sad to see that go to a field goal.

If past experience is any indication, we’ll need every point.

    • Lackadaisical

      That’s more like it.

    • Chafed

Um… what is an open deck diesel?

    • Don escaped Texas

I always wonder at the choices and the reasons. Open isn’t necessarily bad, but I don’t know all the other issues: thickness, material, a thousand things that cost money, time, and space. This is a frivolous observation, but if the cylinder center-lines were far enough apart that the open-style walls were essentially as thick as the closed-style would have been, you’d have the best of both worlds………….but it would be a larger/longer block.

There are almost never any clean-sheet designs; I’ll bet they were also trying to save a crank design or something like that…or a pattern/geometry so they didn’t need to redesign……….OR they are open to a new XYZ design but it has to be machined on the XYZ machine centers we already have, so, while we’re open to a longer geometry in principle, that wouldn’t fit on the mill that turns down the main journals……million things like that.

      • Sensei

And every now and again they hit one out the park taking that approach.

        https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buick_V6_engine

It was 90 degrees and needed a balance shaft since it was a cut down V8. But everybody says the thing is just bulletproof.

  30. Don escaped Texas

Half of my weight is scar tissue.

With apologies to Todd Tiahrt, I have more scars than I need AND more than I want.

  31. Grumbletarian

I banged the crap out of my hands doing it, but I changed the spark plugs and ignition coils in my truck today. And it fired right up afterwards and runs noticeably smoother. First time doing that kind of repair myself, so…

    ::manly happy dance::

    • Mojeaux

Hey, I know that feeling! Congrats!!!!

    • Don escaped Texas

Wiki sez they’ve got 77k members, so for $20 a throw they can each according to his need their way out of this with money left over

      • R.J.

Hey. You can only steal from OTHER groups. Not your own.

    • Sean

      *sad trombone*

  32. Lackadaisical

Lol, these commentators are the best at jinxing people.

‘so and so has never given up a touchdown… And there’s his first one given up this season.’

    • Lackadaisical

I didn’t want to lose in the Superbowl again, anyway.

      • rhywun

        That’s the spirit.

      • Mojeaux

Chiefs are doing better than I thought they would, honestly.

What can I say. I’m still traumatized from the Marty years.

      • Mojeaux

My husband doesn’t understand my generational trauma here.

      • Lackadaisical

Our run game got shutdown.. Not looking good for us, even with that super lucky touchback… And more injuries. Can’t catch a break.

      • Raven Nation

Decides to poke Mo: “Lin Elliot”

      • Mojeaux

        *haughty sniff*

  33. Lackadaisical

    Well that’s an interesting take.

Can’t hit a guy if the QB might throw the ball later on.

Mahomes must have whined to his favorite ref for that flag.

    • slumbrew

      That was some bullshit.

    • Mojeaux

      So about that …

  34. slumbrew

    JFC.

    “Wide right”

    • Lackadaisical

Not even surprising. What I said about jinxing guys?

They brought up some crazy stat about how he’s never missed when we were trailing by 3 or less… And miss

      • rhywun

        It was practically inevitable.

      • slumbrew

And now I have a meteor-game to watch between the Chiefs and Ravens.

      • creech

They must be the guys who jinx the Eagles. “He hasn’t thrown an interception in 16 quarters.” Next play – pick six.

  35. Grumbletarian

    Ouch, Norwooded.

    • hayeksplosives

      Too soon.

      But yeah, he’s no Vinatieri.

  36. The Hyperbole

I was rooting for the Bills, but still that was one hell of a football game.

  37. Raven Nation

  40. Festus

    it’s (sorry Tedz)

  41. Sean

Hey! It’s time to get back at it, Glibs!

    Happy Monday morning. 😒☕

YUM. I think Lauren is getting a lil thicc, but YES. I’ll be in my bunk.

    • Ted S.

You made me visualize you having a thing for thicc Lauren Bacall. 🙁

      • Sean

Maybe UCS can get you some AI generated images.

      • UnCivilServant

I avoid making anything based on real people. It’s both easier and carries fewer ethical questions.

  42. Beau Knott

    Whee, it’s Monday!
    Thus endeth my enthusiasm

    • Gender Traitor

Good morning, Beau, U, Sean, and Ted’S.! (And a belated wave to Festus!)

      • Gender Traitor

How’s it going so far today?

      • UnCivilServant

I made it out of bed and to the store for food. They had Diet Dew in stock.

Almost makes up for being stupid enough to stay up until 2am

      • Gender Traitor

Oh my. 😳 I hope you bought out their entire stock.

      • UnCivilServant

        I would have, but I wasn’t using a cart.

  43. Grosspatzer, Superstar

    Mornin’, reprobates!

    • Gender Traitor

      Good morning, ‘patzie!

  44. UnCivilServant

I’m getting pissed off at this asinine plastic grocery bag ban. I don’t have any handy small trash bags, and they were so useful

    • Stinky Wizzleteats

Why are you so insistant on contributing to the ginormous plastic garbage island in the middle of the ocean that actually doesn’t exist?

      • UnCivilServant

If we put enough plastic out there, we’ll have somplace to ship all the illegals.

    • Gender Traitor

Ugh! I’d forgotten you were suffering under that! I hoard those bags for cleaning the cats’ litter boxes every day, so I’d be livid if such a ban went into effect here.

    • Ownbestenemy

Our produce department has the normal little bags for vegetables and then some hefty ones. I may or may not grab a couple extra for trash bags.

      • Fourscore

They do sell Kitchen bags in the plastic bag department. A little bigger but useful nonetheless. We use the free bags as much as possible but if they leak they go into a kitchen bag. We’re about as thrifty as people can get. My wife makes me change into dress up clothes to go work in the garden, that’ll tell you something.

    • The Hyperbole

I throw away dozens every week, right in the trash.

      • Ownbestenemy

What are you buying that you have dozens per week?

      • The Hyperbole

I go to the store every other day. I always forget something or decide at the last second that I want something I don’t have for dinner.

      • The Hyperbole

Plus if the self checkout is busy and I go to a cashier, the idiot bag boy will give me three times the bags I need. I’ll have 10 items and end up with 9 plastic baggies.

    • Grosspatzer, Superstar

Youngest Patzer attends school in PA. He is under strict orders to bring plastic bags with him when he visits.

  45. Not Adahn

Good morning, NA! How are you and Lily today?

      • Not Adahn

  46. Bob Boberson

    Mornin’!

Catching up on links and posts in the we hours as per usual.

Assuming legal shenanigans don’t keep Trump off the ballot, what’s the over-under that Trump floats the VP spot to Hailey?

I haven’t been following too closely and maybe there is enough vitriol between them to make it a non-starter, but I wouldn’t be overly surprised if his first act as a nominee was to demonstrate that he learned absolutely nothing the first time around.

    • Ownbestenemy

I just cannot see him selecting her unless he pulls the rug from underneath. Say she will get the nod, she drops out, then pivot. Nah, he is terrible at selecting a team, but that one..I think is too far. *disclaimer* I have been known to eat my words from time to time.
