    Where’s the library? WTF?

    • R.J.

¿Donde están los baños? ¡Mis tacos estaban envenenados!

      • Common Tater

Sorry, about the ptomaine. Still don’t know why they were looking for a library.

      • R.J.

It’s an old joke about learning Spanish that predates even me. I have heard the line before.

      • Common Tater

Oh, OK. So it’s sort of like the Hispanic joke, “Will the defendant please rise”.

      • hayeksplosives

It’s the first phrase they taught in all 1980s era high school and middle school Spanish classes.

As though you’ll ever have a burning need to ask for a library first thing after entering a Spanish-speaking country.

  2. juris imprudent

I thought the Germans tended to land in Paraguay?

Anyway, OT, who’d a thunk that an old Democratic woman would be right and Gov. Youngkin would be the standard douche-bag apologist for stupidity (public financing for a STADIUM)?

    • Common Tater

That was a movie, but The Odessa File is also fiction. So who knows. They’d all be dead by now anyway.

      • Zwak says the real is not governable, but self-governing.

Remember, Eichmann was found in Argentina, working at the Mercedes plant there.

    • Rat on a train

But they aren’t public financing the stadium. They are just paying for it with the tax revenue they would have received if not for the deal.

  3. Common Tater

Iron Sky was very good. The sequel was lousy.

    • R.J.

Agreed. I wish the sequel had not been made.

  4. KK, Plump & Unfiltered

    OMFG (in a good way)

  5. R.J.

Damn I loved that. I hope you do a CPAC episode where The Hairs meet.

    • Common Tater

      “Donald loves Hispanics!”

      • Common Tater

Wait, that’s The Hat, not The Hair.

    • Fourscore

Donnie will have an extra MAGA hat to give to the southern guy.

Not to be confused with Suthenboy

Damn, CPRM, you have the accents down as well, good show!

  6. The Hyperbole

Nice work CPRM, as I’ve criticized your animation in the past I should say your work has improved greatly (I know that sounds like a back-handed compliment but it’s not), seriously good stuff.

You still need to learn walk cycles and work on your ‘squash and stretch’ technique, however.

  7. The Other Kevin

    Aw hell yeah!

  8. DEG

    Moon base. Nice.

  9. slumbrew

A rare Wednesday Zoom appearance for me and it’s just me and deadhead.

    NTTIATWWT.

    • R.J.

Dangit. I am in bed. Nobody wants to see that.

      • slumbrew

deadhead had a shirt on and everytihng.

      • R.J.

He’s been doing that lately. He shaved his beard for awhile and looked darn nice.

      • The Hyperbole

Oh, c’mon I’m sure someone wants to see an emaciated shirtless hippie… and slumbrew (whatever he looks like)

      • slumbrew

A somewhat pasty, occasionally debonaire middle-aged Irish/German gentleman who (mostly) still has his hair.

      • R C Dean

Fat, bald, near-sighted and half deaf is no way to go through life.

        Oh, wait . . . . .

      • Zwak says the real is not governable, but self-governing.

I’m FarSighted and have great hearing, so, HA!

    • Chafed

I just caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror. Middle age is unkind. My eyebrows make me look like The Monarch.

      • slumbrew

I got in the habit of trimming my eyebrows a while ago, in an attempt not to look like 1984 Thufir Hawat.

      • Chafed

        Good decision.

      • Rat on a train

I worked with a guy with eyebrows like that.

      • Zwak says the real is not governable, but self-governing.

        Best. Villain. Ever.

      • Chafed

        I have to agree.

      • Zwak says the real is not governable, but self-governing.

“So, how does it feel, to be a liar with one’s pants CONSTANTLY on fire?”

  10. Rat on a train

The Argentine hat dialogue reminds me of the Nazi zombies in The Stick of Truth.

  11. pan fried wylie

…a video posted to X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.

I’m really tired of this phrase, so, i checked http://xtheplatformformerlyknownastwitter.com/, and it’s just a video of what appear to be two dudes trying to hold a pony still to have sex with it.

I’m sure Musk could buy them out of that domain for pennies. DO EEET, ELON!

    • The Hyperbole

      How big is the pony?

      • pan fried wylie

        Eighteen inches, tops.

      • slumbrew

        It’s spunky, tho.

    • Zwak says the real is not governable, but self-governing.

      It’s really just a dolphin, ma’am.

    • Suthenboy

      I dunno…that video is priceless.

      • Gender Traitor

        Not really, but…thanks? 😉

Well, people are saying this isn’t very good, that it’s not getting done; that’s not very nice. These past few days, contributions have plummeted, and, as it sits, we’re looking at 2033 before everything is paid off. So get in there and help: we only need six million or so contributions and boom we’re.

Give…because helping out billionaires is the right thing to do. Do it today: you’ll be glad you did.

    • Chafed

Anyone dumb enough to contribute is getting what they deserve.

      • slumbrew

        Good and hard.

    • Suthenboy

Paying this partially legitimizes the travesty the court is perpetrating. I think paying it is a bad, bad idea.
Trump today, you tomorrow. Fuck that.

  13. B.P.

I like to imagine a random, slightly tipsy normie stumbling upon this video.

  14. Chafed

I have a new found respect for The Hair.

  15. Festus

    Brava!

  16. Festus

This is very out of character but who the hell else is getting sort of tired of Evan’s never-ending stories about finding a stray puppy and then a couple of days later learning that it mysteriously drowned in the toilet? Is it just me? (hrm)

    • Festus

Not meaning to be cruel but I am quite the expert at self sabotage. I know what you are doing, Evan.

      • Suthenboy

        *sigh*
Hi Festus. You are not alone.

      • Stinky Wizzleteats

There’s a lot of that here.

  17. JaimeRoberto (carnitas/spicy salsa)

Shouldn’t this be El Sombrero y El Hairo?

      • Sean

        Happy Leap day.

      • UnCivilServant

I’m not going to be jumping around. My toe’s finally on the mend and I don’t want to endanger that.

      • UnCivilServant

“House of Pain”? No thank you, today’s the first day where I don’t hurt.

    • Gender Traitor

Good morning, Sean, U, and homey!

      • Gender Traitor

OK. I think I’m going to try something different this morning – eating breakfast BEFORE I get to the office. I’ve found yogurt by itself isn’t filling enough to get me through the morning, so yesterday I tried stirring in some sliced almonds. It was tasty and a bit more substantial…but yesterday morning wasn’t a good test, as I didn’t get to the office until 10:30. 🙄

        How about you?

      • UnCivilServant

I have to get blood drawn, then I get to work remotely. I’ll porbably buy breakfast on my way home from the lab.

      • Stinky Wizzleteats

Yogurt and two boiled eggs gets me to lunch. I realize it’s kind of a strange combo though.

      • Gender Traitor

As long as you’re not mixing them together. 😝

      • Not Adahn

        Protein and more protein works.

      • Not Adahn

Well, as long as there’s also coffee.

      • UnCivilServant

Nope, Coffee was banned for cruelty to plants.

      Happy Leap Day, Beau!

Good morning. I had to lead my software database administrator to an understanding yesterday. It took him a bit, but eventually got there without me having to really start turning the screws. Safety issue identified in the flight tracking software that AT uses.

He recognized he didn’t apply some database rules correctly and was the problem then proceeds to tell me that it will be included in the next build…3/21. I gently asked if he really wanted me to tell AT that they won’t have this very function that is part and parcel put in place because of the outcome of a crash in Guam decades ago.

About 40 minutes later the adaptation is sent with a lengthy note that this is safety issue and we should do it right away or as soon as AT can accommodate. So here I am this morning doing that.

Sometimes you can lead a horse to water and they actually drink it.

    • cavalier973

The horse will still resent you, and probably pee on your leg later in the say.

    • Gender Traitor

And you didn’t even have to hold his head under it!

      • Ownbestenemy

Since you brought up Boortz..an interesting memory popped up in my head. I remember his rants about smokers and that they were stupid. Being a smoker myself, he helped solidify my view on liberty and free speech. I was at liberty to do this to myself and he has speech to call me stupid. I wasn’t offended, I knew/know what I am doing isn’t the brightest thing one can do to themselves.

      • cavalier973

I don’t smoke, and never did, but the fact that every element in society condemns smoking tobacco makes me wonder if there is actually some health benefit to smoking that outweighs the dangers.

      • Gender Traitor

I believe he coined a word I find very useful: “obliviots.” Example: people who block a grocery aisle while staring at the shelves (or worse, their phones.)

The Queensland Supreme Court today determined that COVID-19 vaccine mandates imposed on police and health workers were unlawful.

The Queensland Police Service and Queensland Health were wrong to force mandates on their organisations.

So, we’re the mandates for non-police/health workers also unlawful?

I hope that a lot of police and health care workers declined the mRNA shots, back when the pressure was on.

    • R C Dean

“I hope that a lot of police and health care workers declined the mRNA shots”

      Highly unlikely.

    • Grumbletarian

The Queensland Police Service and Queensland Health were wrong to force mandates on their organisations.

      And nothing else happened.

  23. hayeksplosives

    That was brilliant, CPRM! Bravo!!
