    Hail ZARDOZ.

Spud needs help? Is he hiding from STEVE SMITH?

  2. The Late P Brooks

I’m pretty sure being white qualifies as a mental health dysfunction.

It’s my birthday weekend. Staying at a nice Hilton, then getting a steak. I will join next week, another year older.

      • KK, Plump & Unfiltered

        Hilton doesn’t have wifi? Sheesh!

      • R.J.

Hanging out with my OG family and also site lurker I named Retired Rambo. I must join their conversations. Sadly they rarely talk about Sasquatches, libertarians, and bourbon.

      • KK, Plump & Unfiltered

I was just gonna say – sounds like a rock star lifestyle to me!

        Paging CPRM for more evidence

      • Chafed

Enjoy and happy birthday R.J. Here’s hoping Tubi has your favorite movie.

      • KK, Plump & Unfiltered

Happy birthday, since we probably won’t be seeing you on the zoomies!

They really upped the power on the newer ones. I have the 1.0 version (I think), and it’s really good at stunning them. Occasionally I’ll kill or obliterate one, but I have to double tap, just to be sure.

Does this mean there is a correlation between progressive ideas and mental health?

    Why yes, yes it does.

  5. The Late P Brooks

Does this mean there is a correlation between progressive ideas and mental health?

Many people have a hard time distinguishing the world as it is from the world as they wish it to be.

    • Suthenboy

“Wisdom begins by calling things their proper names.” – Some old Greek dude or some old Chinese dude but never mind which or both…like all truisms they stole it from someone who came before them.

    • trshmnstr

Many people struggle with second order consequences. This applies to their personal lives as well as politics.

Amazing to me how the obvious escapes so many people. It is such a mystery we may never know what is upsetting him.

I think the line usually goes –
Male in serious relationship: “Now that we are comfortable together and committed what about we spice things up a bit?”
Female in serious relationship: “Oh I did all of that already. I got it out of my system. Besides you aren’t the kind of guy I would choose for that.”

Male in formerly seriously relationship: *Unzips suitcase and starts dumping drawers into it*

    • trshmnstr

Married women who aren’t tied up in feminism or the complementary conservative strain of feminine pride realize that sometimes they need to step a little outside their comfort zone in the bedroom to keep their man satisfied. It doesn’t mean they can’t have boundaries or that they can’t get what they want, but they can’t just limp fish it every time and expect that hubby is happy to just have a hole available to him.

  7. The Late P Brooks

Some guys want to be that “safe choice”. You know, like Tim Walz. She ‘ll never sprawl across the bed drenched in sweat gasping “Holy moly” with you, but you’re the one she’ll call when there’s a spider in her bath tub.

    • Suthenboy

Good for them. I hope they get their wish.
I have always tried to be both.

That wannabe-fuckboi post is all over Twitter. AMAYYYYYZING how sharp the divide is. Everybody’s talking past each other and nobody wants to try to understand the other side’s viewpoint.

    Gravity never sleeps

A large geological feature in southern Utah known as the “Double Arch,” the “Hole in the Roof” and sometimes the “Toilet Bowl” has collapsed, National Park Service officials said Friday. No injuries were reported.

The popular arch in the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area fell Thursday, and park rangers suspect changing water levels and erosion from waves in Lake Powell contributed to its demise.

Michelle Kerns, superintendent of the recreation area that spans the border of Utah and Arizona, said the collapse serves as a reminder to protect the mineral resources that surround the lake.

“These features have a life span that can be influenced or damaged by manmade interventions,” she said in a statement.

They should have reinforced it with concrete to preserve it for future generations.

I’d like to, but a) my audio has been all sorts of goofy in the past, and )b I doubt I’d be to good in a conversation right now.

I’ve been feeling ‘OFF’ all day. Just on a bit of a delay. And grrg. hayek likely gets what I’m talking about. Just about 15% ‘congested.’ And my family being here doesn’t help. Lack of privacy has hit me hard a few times today.

YouTube just recommended Baby Got Back in my feed. I gotta say the butts in that video aren’t all that big by today’s standard.

      Wut

    • Evan from Evansville

If ya swing whatever way, I guess it’s not THAT big’a deal, especially if it’s YOUR cow. Or if no one else finds out. Or especially if the cow *likes* it, then ya could have all sorts of interesting conversations.

    • Chafed

      Care to explain?

      • Gustave Lytton

The Reddit above telling her boyfriend of several years that he’s marriage material.

  17. Grumbletarian

I usually don’t drink much, but I had a couple of glasses of JD on ice and I am surprised I managed to drive home. Shit. Lucky but remorseful tonight.

    • Evan from Evansville

I entered that same camp on Friday. Quite a small amount, but especially cuz it’s me, I knew I fucked up. I pulled over to chill. Then I responded to a call and, mostly out of the convergence of all stressors, managed to fuck that up pretty well.

      Regret and shame have followed.

      • Grumbletarian

Yeah, fortunately it was a short drive, but still…

  18. Chipping Pioneer

I am disappoint that no one in the last picture is playing grabass.

  19. Chipping Pioneer

We let our English bulldog go 2 weeks ago. We brought her ashes home yesterday. A dog is not a human, but, not having any children of our own, she was like our perpetual 3-year-old. We loved her very much. The wife is out of town tonight. Today has been very hard.

There was a link here the day we let her go about the FedEx driver who stole a family’s Frenchie that later died in his truck. There is no level of hurt that I would be uncomfortable unleashing on such a person.

I am from the country, where we generally regard dogs as working animals, and we farm and hunt, so we are accustomed to taking an animal’s life.

When our dog was younger, I was approached on two occasions by scum of the earth asking if she was fixed and if I would sell her. We gave ours a good life, and I don’t understand people who would subject an animal to a life of suffering to put a few dollars in their pocket.

    • Gustave Lytton

I’m sorry CP. Still miss our last doggo. The new one has been extremely challenging and not as rewarding.

    • hayeksplosives

I offer my condolences on the loss of your doggo. I’m a “childless” pet owner myself, and always will be.

As to the type of person who steals a family pet, or runs a puppy mill, or even just does it low scale in their trailer… damn. I have zero mercy to those people.

If there is a drop of decency in your soul, surely it woul manifest when you are holding a warm puppy in your hands

  20. rhywun

    Today in asshole.

Colin Greenland reviewed the film for White Dwarf #85, and stated that it was “yet another celebration of the anxious wonder of growing up white, middle-class and heterosexual in America. The lovable weirdos squabble in the lab, play hi-tech pranks in the dorm and party in the lecture theater. Nerds just wanna have fun. Nerds have feelings too. Hug a Nerd today.”

Show us on the doll where the white, middle-class, heterosexual nerd touched you.

    • UnCivilServant

      I’m confused.

When did White Dwarf have film reviews in it?

      • UnCivilServant

I checked, and yes that turd apparently had a column where he vomitted uselessness every other month. Games Workshop has since dropped content not about their products from the magazine.

      • rhywun

Ha. I did not know what White Dwarf is. Assumed something along the lines of Red Dwarf.

Today I also learned what Games Workshop is and that it is headquartered in the same town where my company has a large presence.

      • UnCivilServant

GW makes Plastic Crack. I lost count of how many times I’ve mentioned the company.

(Full disclosure – I am a shareholder in the company)

“This movie sucks because it doesn’t check the correct demographic check-boxes.”

  21. Suthenboy

    Morning all.

WTF? I watch YouTube videos about recipes and music. I have never watched any political ads (occasionally philosophical discussions) but certainly never D or Kamala ads. I have never looked at any tranny videos of any kind.
In the last couple of weeks my feed has been chock full of both.
It has the definite feel of the proggie ‘eat it and like it’ mentality. Who runs YouTube these days? What the fuck is it with these people?

20% of people voting for a commie can result in a dictatorship in the UK.

2 years for ‘gesticulating’ at the police, tried and sentenced in about 2 days. Amazing.

My wife told me that the chief of police somewhere in the UK is saying he will go after people posting comments online, including those in the US, up to seeking extradition.

    Come and get it, dummy.

That said, UK is clearly fucked. Never have I more agreed with my wife’s stance to never send a cent to the UK by travelling there.

    • Ownbestenemy

I’ll stand by my prediction that is Kamala wins, her DOJ will extradite

      • The Artist Formerly Known as Lackadaisical

I’m not sure what we should do about that, if that were true.

      • Sean

      • Suthenboy

Extraditing people to foreign lands who have never been to said foreign lands for legal behavior here in the US but illegal in those foreign lands, i.e. subjecting our citizens to the laws of foreign nations would be the ultimate in destroying our sovereignty, wouldn’t it? A bit over the line I would say.
Is there any nation they would not extradite us to? Iran for not participating in Islam? NK for watching forbidden news media? Bhutan for spitting on the sidewalk?

Let me guess: The internet means all of everyone’s behavior has externalities effecting everyone else in the world so we need a one world govt and uniform set of laws for all of humanity. I think they are evil and insane enough to make just that argument.
