“Trump Speaks at Madison Square Garden Rally”
NAAAAZZZZIIIISSS!
Man, they are not even trying.
Oh they’re trying, this is just the best they can do. Sad.
How dare these Nazi’s make a joke about Puerto Rico?
Is it a new generation of idiots without game, or is it that too many people in the public are on to them after the Kung Flu debacle?
NPR told me it was just a horrible, awful, hateful, sexist, uncouth, divisive shitfest that perfectly encapsulated Trumps true nature and contrasted perfectly with Kammy’s optimism and unity.
Alex, I think they pushed the gaslighting too far and people are on to them.
“Akshully they economy is great, the high prices are Republican disinformation.”
“Akshully the border is secure, the thousands of migrants in your neighborhood are a myth.”
“Akshully Joe Biden is sharp as a tack and doing cartwheels around the room when nobody is watching.”
You can get away with selectively editing Trump speeches, but you can’t outright lie about things people see with their own eyes. As usual, the Dems pushed things too far.
“All movements go to far.” – Dorthy Parker
The same applies to political parties.
I have yet to see a coherent response to the question. Why the #3 worst mass murderer? Why not Mao or Stalin?
The Nazis were snappier dressers?
Because everyone has seen the videos of the Nazi book burnings and rallies growing up and because the US is more culturally similar to Germany than Russia or China.
Cynical view – the people that dictate the lesson plans were commies and they don’t want you to look over there.
They were abortion doctors on that stage, as I understand it.
The only thing they would know how to do is yank something out of the person’s body.
“I gotcher liver! Feel better?”
“I just needed some air!”
Not the people you want rushing to your aid.
Their skill is in taking life not saving it.
I thought for sure that story was made-up wingnuttery.
She really can’t stop stepping in it.
As for “the only thing they would know how to do” – all docs get the basics. They should leap to assistance. Or does that only happen on TV?
As for “Harris brought out several abortion doctors”… what the fuck is wrong with her?
What state was this in? The ambulance chaser legal logic might have kicked in with them for all I know if you are in one of those states where any kind of help makes you legally liable. That having been said, I would also not be surprised to find out these were all people that played doctor for team blue shit-shows, and thus, they could give no real medical help whatsoever.
I agree that “they’re abortion doctors, they wouldn’t know what to do” is silly. They still graduated med school, like every other doctor.
Maybe Alex’s liability concern is real but not a single one moved by instinct to go help? That seems bizarre to me to the point I’ll entertain “they were actors” claim.
“Ambulance chaser logic” doesn’t work as they are all exempt due to being licenced medical professionals. I am exempt due to Red Cross certification. This comes from first responder laws that are valid in all 50 states.
More likely they aren’t real doctors.
That would be epic. You know somebody will dig into it.
“That would be epic. You know somebody will dig into it.”
Roh, roh…
So now they can end up Clintoned?
“This comes from first responder laws that are valid in all 50 states.”
I am also CPR certed, but would think twice about acting, because my insurance company gave me a warning about this. Their first inclination is that you will get a suit by ambulance chasers regardless 9so it costs money), and then, they will not take on the pain without letting shit roll down hill. As someone that find a huge problem with a legal system that requires massive monetary and time outlay to gamble on proving your innocence, I can see that as a negative factor.
“I am also CPR certed, but would think twice about acting,”
Would you really stand there with your hands in your pockets and watch somebody die if you could save them?
R C – Never been in the situation but I would hope to at minimum go through the process: You call 911, you go find an AED, Anyone else CPR certified? Yes, you are my backup or you start and Ill take over until AED.
I know best laid plans and all that, but at bare minimum, I’d try and start the coordination process.
“Would you really stand there with your hands in your pockets and watch somebody die if you could save them?”
If I knew there were a whole bunch of other qualified people there? I would certainly hesitate. But yeah, I would still not just completely ignore the call.
“If I knew there were a whole bunch of other qualified people there? I would certainly hesitate.”
Like the docs on stage with Harris?
Fair point that its situation-specific – I’m not shoving an ER doc out of the way to do CPR or first aid.
I thought ER docs didn’t actually provide care. I thought they most ran around yelling STAT when they weren’t having sex with interns in the supply closet.
“The hysteria being pushed by the left is making people mentally ill,” X user @bonchieredstate commented.
I suspect the mental illness was there all along, and is just being given an opportunity to manifest now.
Mental illness can be contagious? Public health sector gets huge collective boner.
Not contagious, and I am never influenced by salespeople.
I think Shpip might have a point. While doing online dating a decade ago, I found every single left leaning boss girl I went out with eventually admitted to suffering from one or more mental disorders and being on medication. Yes, anecdotal, but I have talked to others about it, and the experience is the same. People with issues, and especially it feels like women with daddy issues or men with mamma issues, will however tend to gravitate to a political party that wants to fulfill that role, and the democrats sure as hell want to play parent to idiots.
There is a difference between contagious and inducible.
‘Tardness isn’t contagious but can be induced by government mandates for lead piping (looking at YOU, Chicago).
I dont get the lead pipe thing. Canard? As far as I am aware lead pipes are used for waste water, not potable water supply.
“As far as I am aware lead pipes are used for waste water, not potable water supply.”
You are talking about government workers….
Flint MI used lead pipes. I assume they aren’t alone.
“As far as I am aware lead pipes are used for waste water, not potable water supply.”
Even after the change from lead or iron pipes to copper pipes for potable water, the solder used for copper piping contained lead, and a lot of water fixtures (spigots, etc) were cast using metal that contained lead. The lead has long ago been removed from the solder and the casting metals were changed. As a retired boilermaker/steamfitter, I can say that I have never seen actual lead pipe, but I am sure it’s out there.
You can usually find lead pipe in the conservatory.
I know that in a couple houses I have owned that there was lead sealing in the soil pipes, but I have never come across any in the the water supply. Doesn’t mean it isn’t there, but I have never seen it.
Didn’t know you were a steamfitter. I loved the boiler training when I was doing stationary engineer training. Sad I never got to work on hydronic systems during my short career.
https://sli.chicagowaterquality.org/
If you live in a house or two-flat or a small building built before 1986, there is a high likelihood that your water service line is lead. Lead service lines are not usually found in larger buildings.
Not ususally in larger buildings
darnit, quote tag fail.
“a couple houses I have owned that there was lead sealing in the soil pipes”.
Years (and years) ago, bell and spigot piping was used in potable water piping. During my apprenticeship, I had to learn how to install/repair, but only ever repaired in the field. We had to pound “oakum” strips into the joint and pour molten lead on top of the oakum to seal the joint. Now that type of pipe is plastic and has gasketed connections. Poorly made lead joints can leach lead into the water. To the best of my knowledge, actual lead piping has not been used for a very long time.
“I loved the boiler training when I was doing stationary engineer training.”
Modern boilers are remarkably easy to operate, if the operator pays attention during training. When I did training, I would ask the trainees “What are the two most important things to know?” 1) What are the various ways to put water into the boiler, 2) Where is the off switch. I surprised me how many experienced operators could not answer the first question.
I have seen actual lead pipe but only from outside of house to whatever sewer system was used.
Lead(Pb) pipes are mainly a cultural reference for me at this point. “I hit him upside the head with a lead pipe”
I have a very old house, but it has a steel water feed pipe.
So far as adding water to a boiler, it should come from the feed line. But, it needs to be approximately the temp of the water that is in there, so preheated, or you need to let the boiler cool and then add water.
And, yes, I need to look it up, as I did the training decades ago, and never used it. So, one wants to be sure of what they are doing before massively fucking things up.
“Trump’s Interview on Joe Rogan”
Frankly, this felt exactly like any other open forum Trump did. Sure he got a YUGE audience, and he got seen by people he might not have because of Rogan’s audience, but there was no new revelation about the guy. FOR ME… I am sure someone that had never seen this side of Trump rambling like a normal person, would be something to scratch your head about.
My take is Harris would still bomb a friendly interview like this cause she is playing with a deck that is at least an entire suit short. As I heard someone else comment, they can now believe Harris maybe never noticed Biden was 5 beer cans short of a six pack.
So no drinking contests with Harris and Pelosi.
My brother’s take was, “It was just two guys, talking.”
He did find it interesting that Trump promised to release the rest of the JFK files.
I asked about the tax thing, and he said, “Yeah, Trump talked about replacing the income tax with tariffs.”
I unfortunately missed the opportunity to explain that it was government spending, rather than taxes, that desperately needs to be cut.
I unfortunately missed the opportunity to explain that it was government spending, rather than taxes, that desperately needs to be cut.
Yes, but tariffs are more avoidable than income tax, so I’d be happy with that particular trade, even if it doesn’t solve the root cause.
I was wrong (no really) because I thought the loser would be whichever candidate did Rogan. While Rogan is not going to necessarily grill either in an adversarial way, there would be a few questions that would yield bad answers which is natural over 3 hours. Trump didn’t reveal anything that interesting in the podcast, but he was fine and didn’t have any fuckups.
Also a risk Rogan asks follow-up questions on her nonsense.
“Also a risk Rogan asks follow-up questions on her nonsense.”
Rogan had several follow ups for Trump, the guy does ramble, but the topics were thing that were not a problem for Trump to talk about, so it flowed naturally without anything awkward. My take is that Harris would be firing off world salads as every answer (unless the subject was fucking your way to a job you are not qualified for), and when Rogan followed up with “da fug?’, that shit would look crazy, and it would get weird. To me, Harris feels more and more like the scorned ex wife that wants everyone to know the problem was her ex husband, and not her being batshit crazy.
I’m at a point where I want to punch the screen when I hear her speak. She has the voice of the worst kind of suburban AWFL scolding, and it drives me fucking mad.
That’s probably the point.
Nobody who has paid attention is going to learn anything new about him at this point.
The Rogan interview was a natural environment for Trump and it showed how conversational he can be. Also, does he ever shy away from a topic? He lets you know his stance regardless of the popularity of that stance. Kamala is incapable of doing that. She tries to tailor her answers to her specific audience at the moment. You can’t successfully do that with 3 million people without coming down on one side or the other of an issue, which is what she has been trying to do her whole campaign. You can’t fool all the people all of the time.
Alex, that was my take too. If you’ve seen Trump interviews this was nothing new. But for people who have only seen edited clips, this was the best side of Trump they could see.
You get the feeling they could go on for another three hours. At the end Trump asked how long they were talking and they were both surprised it went that fast. My favorite was when they were talking about MMA and boxing. It was fun to hear Trump being a super fan. “Did you see that fight? That was crazy!”
“At this point, it is believed that the fraudulent voter registrations are connected to a large-scale canvassing operation for voter registrations that date back to June,” Adams said.
I’m going to give some benefit of the doubt here, for this reason: if they’re paying folks to sign up “new voters” and not bothering to check any info, the activists getting paid have every incentive to sign up as many people as they can, regardless if said people exist or not. Going out and finding a hundred individuals who aren’t registered to vote is hard. Finding forty and pencil-whipping another sixty is much easier, and the money’s the same.
Of course, if all the fake names and addresses actually receive ballots which then just happen to break 100% for a certain political party, so much the better.
Analysis….
100% for a certain party? Why there are precincts in Philly that give 110% for a certain party.
“Americans Are More Dependent Than Ever on Government Handouts, New Report States”
Stage 3 in the plan to have everyone but the credentialed elite aristocracy own everything , leaving the serfs with nothing, and a warning to be happy about that, or else..
Is the real objection to this with regard to the abysmal elite we have; would you be okay if the elite included you or was at least exhibiting true noblesse oblige? Or do you object to the existence of the elite entirely regardless of their character?
Like I tell people that propose giving more power to government: I will only accept that, and by default what we have right now, which is already batshit crazy too much, if I, and ONLY I, get to make the decisions of what is and is not acceptable/good/hate speech/misinformation/disinformation/crime. Otherwise, they shoudl all fuck off.
I happened on this great article on media bias, sometime after I saw the clip of Vance powning that asshat Tapper for being a lying biased moronic shitbag propagandist and leaving him sputtering, and felt it should be shared here with you Glibronis.
So, one of the things I keep hearing is that all these celebrities coming out to endorse team blue are doing so because of the Diddy angle. The Feds are basically telling them if they don’t endorse the Cackler in Chief wannabe, and team blue in general, their Diddy related adventures will not only be made public, but they will land them in court. Before Trump-Hitler (remember when he was a just a Putin stooge named Trump-Putin?), came arounds something like this would make me immediately demand proof. These days, especially after Epstein was Clintoned, I want so bad to go there, but then I feel like I am the fool for saying this sounds too crazy to be true. After all, the amount of silly/crazy things we were told by them that were just conspiracies, and then turned out to be accurate and true, is freaking YUGE!
I am hearing the celebrities are getting paid to appear at her rallies, and that seems more plausible to me.
Embrace the power of AND?
Carrot AND the stick…
Over and under, that batshit crazy team blue women is one of those people that believes kids are killing Gaia, just let her inner freak fly?
Someone is spoofing team blue, right?
No fucking way they thought this was something that was campaign ad worthy. They really can’t be that fucking dumb and crazy.
https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/4948619-democrats-new-ad-republicans-porn-ban/
Not the campaign directly, just a progressive group that’s “helping”
So, what the fuck would you do differently than these idiots are doing, if you wanted to sabotage the campaign from within?
https://media1.tenor.com/m/5WMD9NxHnCUAAAAC/ralph-wiggum-simpsons.gif
I too thought that was fake (like the abortion docs she had on stage).
Her side is really bad at this.
I truly believe they gave the keys to 20 something year old kids thinking they will bring up the Gen Z votes
“I truly believe they gave the keys to 20 something year old kids thinking they will bring up the Gen Z votes”
Sure feels like that is what we have here. Problem is I doubt this worked with anyone that isn’t batshit crazy.
“Her side is really bad at this.”
What if this advice is coming from the Starmer people that were sent over here to interfere with our elections?
I haven’t heard of any R’s wanting a porn ban. I have heard of Dems wanting to legalize child porn. Is that where this comes from?
Do we know what that dipshit is supposed to be yanking to?
Now that you mention it….I was thinking the Starmer people needed a helicopter ride but if this is their doing I recommend they keep it up.
“ I haven’t heard of any R’s wanting a porn ban.”
Over the last year a couple of red states have passed laws requiring adult sites to verify the age of those accessing the site.
I assume that’s at least one kernel of truth to the story.
verifying age is not banning and all good lies have kernels of truth.
It just smells too much like the usual tactic the left uses of conjuring up issues from thin air. The ‘ol “If we say we dont want government schools….” tactic.
Josh Hawley?
I seem to recall people here not wanting him to win the primary in part because he railed against porn.
Page 5 of the Foreword of Project 2025: “Pornography should be outlawed. The people who produce and distribute it should be imprisoned. Educators and public librarians who purvey it should be classed as registered sex offenders. And telecommunications and technology firms that facilitate its spread should be shuttered.”
‘Doctors’. We have seen this before with Obama plugging Obamacare…props on stage with white jackets draped over them and stethoscopes dangling off of them.
Potemkin campaign from a Potemkin party. The party of grifters.
The whole Kamala campaign is staged. Busing in people to her rallies, paying celebrities to appear, actors in the restaurants she visits. All of it. And she’s not even a good actress.
Agreed.
But if she wins, it will be hailed as the smartest campaign evar.
Social Media Erupts Over Video Appearing To Show Harris Supporter Screaming At Child In Stroller
How long before leftists try to drum up sympathy for the woman with the ‘she has received death threats but we won’t give examples” tactic?
The only good part of that video is the other supporter grabbing her and clearly saying something along the lines of “what the fuck is wrong with you”?
Ya and that lady was given the credit where credit were due
Probably today. Awaiting media exposes on parents that bring children to rallies.
So, every nuclear power protest back in the 70s-80s will be thrown down the memory hole?
Well ya, that was like…50 years ago and we are much more sophisticated now in 2024
That was different, Zwak – protesting nuclear power was righteous goodthink, supporting Bad Orange Hitler is badthink.
JD Vance on Tim Dillon’s show is a better listen than Trump on Rogan.
Mojeaux:
This may be pertinent to your interests.
Shrooms or cactus?
I can see the transcription of silence now: If doctor not speaking, probably contemplating how to maim their next patient.
In this transcript, the doctor reported the patient expressing violent thoughts. Red Flag!
Oh, that’s HILARIOUS.
A place I used to work for would tell us our work is as important to patient care as the doctor’s work. That’s not anywhere close to true, but at least a human’s not going to make shit up.
AI is ALSO not going to flag a report when the doc says to give Keytruda 200 mg b.i.d.
True dat!
One reason I stopped watching Top Chef.
Contrary to the beliefs of the idiots making strong assertions, claiming there was no cheating and demanding proof of cheating (and nothing will ever be accepted as proof), if you not only refuse to look for the fraud, but also prosecute/persecute anyone pointing out there is serious evidence of it, you are the moron for asserting there is no fraud.
I stopped when it was clear they factored personality in deciding who to eliminate.
I figure they’re all like that.
I still watch the Ramsey shows – the only political posturing comes (rarely) from the cast.
We figure there is a show within the show and Mrs OBE and I just call who will win based on what Fox wants or is the flavor of the season (Ramsey shows that is)
Entirely circumstantial, but one side is doing everything they can to promote fraud or hand waive away weaknesses in the integrity of the system.
“waive away weaknesses in the integrity of the system.”
They can claim all they want that the system is secure and they care about it, but when the system is designed to not be auditable and for shenanigans to not be caught easily, for decades, with any attempt to fix these problems being shot down, then assuming that the purpose/result of said system is to enable cheating, is the correct thing to do..
Ten Hag fired by United:
https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/articles/cpvznn4v01yo
I’m confused, you say that ten hags were fired by United Airlines, then link to a soccer story?
I thought the same. I am just an American bumpkin.
LOL I thought the same thing. Fly overseas with them and you’d swear their entire staff was geriatric.
Election rigging Euro style.
https://www.reuters.com/world/europe/moldovas-eu-referendum-goes-wire-after-sandu-decries-vote-meddling-2024-10-21/
Just like their last Presidential election, the people of Moldova voted one way, then a flood of ex-pat votes poured in from abroad and swung the vote the other way.
The globalists sure as hell have a system to circumvent the will of the unwashed masses…
The EU might fall apart before that happens.
Stop whispering such sweet things in my ear!
Nevermind that Moldova in no way qualifies for EU membership.
Why not?
Their economy is the worst in Europe other than the Ukraine. Not ready for competition, not fiscally stable.
expat votes being pro EU is nothing strange, it is the same for Romania.
So, how desperate do you have to be that after you send that cuck Obama out to harangue men to vote for the Cackler in Chief, and failing miserably, you send out Big Mike to do more of that stupid shit?
Seriously, the democrat party is the party of scorned, batshit crazy, self and manhating women with severe mental problems. And they want you to know the problem is you, not them, for seeing that.
This is what happens when nobody tells you “no” for 10 years.
I’m sure the NFL fans in the audience are happy with the Cowboys game last night. They looked like dogshit for the better part of the game, and now have a (well-deserved) losing record.
There was a Cowboys game? There was just one game I was following, and I really lament that I couldn’t be there to enjoy it.
They won one for Jimmy Donovan.
This clip from MSNBC was everywhere this morning. It is so crazy that I figured it must be fake. So far, no such claims
https://x.com/dom_lucre/status/1850709440766353881
Meh, it’s not “illegal”. And it’s not changing any minds because anyone watching MSNBC already shares the same mental illnesses with the staff there.
Re: Madison Square Garden. The current Garden is not the same building used in 1939, in fact I don’t think it’s even at the same location.
It’s not.
The previous one was farther uptown.
I, for one, hope the other NHL teams forfeit games to be played in that building, lest they be branded as Nazi’s.
Trump fills Madison Square Garden with anger, vitriol and racist threats
Marking final stretch of campaign in New York, Trump and cabal of surrogates attack Harris and mock Puerto Rico

A much better title the the article in the links.
Ot takes some special glasses to see that hidden image.
It’s not changing any minds because anyone reading The Guardian already shares the same mental illnesses with the staff there.
your comment is filled with anger, vitriol
Don’t forget my racist threats!
Pie, did you see the kayaking hints I left you on Saturday morning?
https://www.glibertarians.com/2024/10/saturday-morning-recovery-links/#comment-2874291
I did not, thanks. I was more looking at the lake than the internet.
For a party that swears up and down they are not communists they sure have a lot of policies in common with communists and strong support from commies.
Why, it’s almost as if they are lying.
I never have been all that big on Karma
…
But…
Hard to explain this one any other way.
Dude taunts the crowd *during* the last second play, then tips the ball to the other team, losing the game.
https://x.com/KruseSports_/status/1850695755650191432
Did trump’s Nazi robot army fan out across midtown Manhattan, smashing windows and looting stores after he whipped them into a frenzy of racist misogyny?
Yes, but they hid that!
Goddam pro-Trump media.
Great line from Tucker…. h was talking about the big thing that Trump did for us…
Trump enabled us to say no when they tell us to lie…. so when they say Kamala is so great and so inspirational that she got 89 million votes, we will all know it is a lie and we will say it is a lie.
And then they pull your bank account and if you protest they toss you in the clink.
Nazi rally:
Do you know else liked to gather in large crowds?
Lemmings?
That game on Commodore Amiga was fantastic
Juggalos?
Eagles fans?
Neil Finn?
*golf clap*
Not Harris supporters?
I was doing some thinking about the shift started under the Obama administration towards favoring Iran over anyone else in that region, especially since Iran, because of it’s leadership, was such a destabilizing entity. My only working conclusion is that the team blue green cultists decided that existing policies towards Iran that limited it’s ability to sell the massive amount of natural gas and oil the country possessed, were bad, and reversed course. Not sure if they actually meant for that energy to go to China or elsewhere (Europe), but that’s what happened. And I can’t believe they didn’t realize that Iran’s nutjob mullahocracy getting billions of extra dollars, would not play well for regional or global security. And yet, there seems to be no reversal of this policy, to the point Saudi Arabia and other Arab states not in Iran’s sphere of influence are allying themselves with Israel.
So the green movement’s political establishment are literally destabilizing the Middle East for that dirty energy they don’t want us to get in the US, and that energy is now going to China, which has some seriously horrible ambitions of power we will sooner or later have to deal with (and it was the geniuses that gave us this new Iran policy that also thought making China prosperous while wrecking America, would great a more table globe). Is it all about creating instability and war? Cause I see no other sane end result from this idiocy.
The left in a nutshell.
Anyone see the end of the Bears game? They got the lead with 25 seconds left. Then this happened…
https://x.com/TPPSkol/status/1850683641564704892
I didn’t
They are the Redskins…
Fuck that Commander shit…
Go SKINS!
Did drugs fall out of his ass after that play?
Yeah, in the 1930s there was a movement of African American communists who emigrated to the Soviet Union. The most famous was Lovett Fort Whiteman. All of them were shot during the 1938 purge.
https://x.com/Der_Parrot/status/1850767388121194678
hmmmm Wikipedia says this guy died of malnutrition while imprisoned in a gulag, not shot
“my bad. I read they fell victim to the purge, and assumed they were all shot like most were during that purge.”
Fair enough.
Heart failure was a common cause of death in those days. Often a contributing factor was a bullet.
Died with bullet, not of bullet.
Did the kid in the stroller steal that woman’s lollypop? I watched that the other day and couldn’t figure out what the fuck was going on. Those clips like that always start in middle.
The kid yelled “This is MAGA country!”
Ah, so the kid poured bleach on her.
All is clear now.
In this 2024 peer-reviewed paper in @jqtsie, the authors (both queer and trans) attempt to “queer” research and the traditional purpose of the academy so that it prioritizes “queer and trans joy, thriving, and life.”
How do they do this? By utilizing “divination dialogues,” which are “conversations that take place during and following a divinatory practice such as tarot reading, as a liberatory politic of community building and co-theorization on how to actualize our own futures in a colonial, neoliberal academy.”
Through these “divination dialogues,” the authors claim to have come up with “four ways that queer and trans academics can infuse our queerness into the academy as a reclamation of our space.”
https://x.com/SwipeWright/status/1849867031463723077
So fantasies?
“Queer” just means some sort of leftist deconstruction now. I shudder to think what they have in store for the rest of us once they stop sniffing each other’s farts and it escapes the ivory tower.
Long-term homelessness and low-end sex work, I’m guessing…
I can’t tell if Trump’s campaign pace has just hemmed Harris in and dictating her campaign stops or if her internals believe she has the other swing states sewn up
no one knows nothing about nothing.
The Polymarket swing-state odds imply that several are pretty close to being sewn up for Trump, but not for Harris. Michigan has been moving in Harris’s direction recently, though.
https://polymarket.com/markets/politics/swing-states
Michigan is a blue state and has been for 6 years now. Why they keep calling a swing state is beyond me.
Because in 16 it either went for Trump, or came very close. I can’t remember which.
Where is she spending all her time? I haven’t been paying enough attention to know.
Texas.
So, yeah.
It seems just in the Rust Belt in the past couple of weeks. The interactive map I found doesn’t give dates of when campaign appearances occurred in other swing states. She is going to be in AZ on Halloween to court the Latino crowd. Meanwhile Trump will also be in AZ for more of a hurricane relief benefit. Striking difference there.
Maybe I just seem to think she is spending all her time combating Trump’s moves on PA and now…*checks notes* NY?
Another great example of her campaign team. Harris needed to counter program against Rogan and Trump by teasing Beyonce. News took it and ran with it and billed it as a performance. Team Harris, rather than coming out and saying ‘nah, she’s just here to show support’ said nothing and packed in the crowd for the optics. Only for a sizable amount leave once they realized it was Beyonce speaking for 4 minutes.
Her team though the best counter for Rogan’s demographics was Beyonce.
If done right it could have been a decent reply to Rogan. But, Beyonce would have needed to put on a full show, Kamalama would have needed to show up during an intermission and given a speech, and so on.
But, no.
Sweet nothings
“I’d like to begin by asking a very simple question: Are you better off now than you were four years ago?” Trump asked. “I’m here today with a message of hope for all Americans: With your vote in this election, I will end inflation. I will stop the invasion of criminals coming into our country, and I will bring back the American dream.” He also said he would push for a tax credit for “family caregivers who take care of a parent or a loved one” – after Harris unveiled her own platform proposing that Medicare cover home health care.
“If Kamala Harris gets four more years, our economy can never recover. If I win, we will quickly build the greatest economy in the history of world,” he said.

Trump’s dark appearance cranked up the palpable sense of tension blanketing the country a week before an election that may represent a national turning point. Supporters of each candidate harbor a sense of dread about what happens if their nominee loses, in a showdown that has highlighted two irreconcilable visions of the future — and what it means to be an American. The warnings from Trump that he envisages a presidency of all but unchecked power dedicated to “retribution” are bolstering a sense that a fateful moment is at hand.
Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Walz drew an allusion between Trump’s downtown Manhattan rally and a notorious 1939 pro-Nazi gathering at the previous arena on the same site, as Democrats now openly brand the ex-president as a “fascist.” The Minnesota governor said: “There’s a direct parallel to a big rally that happened in the mid-1930s at Madison Square Garden … and don’t think that he doesn’t know for one second exactly what they’re doing there.”
Trump whistled, and the dogs went nuts.
Meanwhile Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Walz gave a promotion to some revolutionary leftist guy who wants to destroy the US.

TDS: Where it comes from
Just now, after seeing that story I sent a link to an aunt of mine, one stricken with textbook borderline personality disorder. She hates Colin Powell with the heat of a thousand suns. He has ‘beetly brows’ and reminds her of a thuggish POS she knew in HS 60 years ago. BPD sufferers equate appearance with character. I suspect as a child she thought movie tropes of evil characters ugly good guys handsome somehow applies to real life.
I occasionally provoke her for my amusement but never attack her. I just shine the laser, watch her chase it and then leave it alone.
She just responded to me that he only did that for publicity (somehow that fits into his being a troglodyte) .
I asked her “Even if that is true how does that take away from what he did? He brought joy into the life of a person in a very dark place.”
She doesnt want to talk about it anymore.
How many times have you heard that/seen that pattern of logic?
I amend that question. How many Times have you seen that pattern of illogic?
I should mention that my aunt has never had a rational thought in her life. Every decision she makes is based on feels. Her feelings are somehow a litmus test for truth and reason.
Her life has been a train wreck for all 86 years of it.

Those bitter clingers have deep contempt for us.
The case for duelling
A Modest Proposal: If yes to assisted suicide, then why not duelling?
https://thecritic.co.uk/the-case-for-duelling/
An excellent article in the latest History Today describes how Uruguay legalised duelling in 1920, and only outlawed it again in 1992. For most of the twentieth century it proved to be of considerable social utility there. Primarily, the institution acted as a more effective sort of Ofcom, making politicians and journalists think twice before publishing intemperate or slanderous remarks about their rivals. A quick visit to the duelling ground proved far speedier and more effective as a dispute resolution mechanism than a grinding journey through the libel courts, and not that many people were actually killed. A graze to the shoulder from a bullet or a glancing blow from a sabre, accompanied by negotiations from the seconds and other friends, usually brought about a settlement that satisfied all parties and the requirements of gentlemanly honour.
The reintroduction of duelling would certainly be a great boon to the Police. No longer would they have to respond to calls to break up the machete and knife fights which are an ever more colourful part of our urban and civic life. The constabulary could assume that these were all engagements permitted by the new duelling law, and instead devote themselves to the more pressing business of patrolling social media. One need hardly spell out the consequent savings that would follow from knife-crime or gun offenders never needing to trouble the prisons and probation service, rather than the latest rather futile practice of releasing them from jail after serving 40 percent of their sentences.
I have an idea. It may seem radical but perhaps we should not create widows, of other wives or our own, because two guys never grew out of middle school and cant control their passions with reason.
That’s just my two cents.
As for the urban violence and thugs referred to legalizing or not legalizing wont change anything there.
So all gang-related crime will have the defense of “motha fucka challenged me to a duel, so I capped his ass”.
The enemy within
U.S. intelligence agencies have identified domestic extremists with grievances rooted in election-related conspiracy theories, including beliefs in widespread voter fraud and animosity toward perceived political opponents, as the most likely threat of violence in the coming election.
In a Joint Intelligence Bulletin that was not distributed publicly but was reviewed by NBC News, agents from the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security warn state and local law enforcement agencies that domestic violent extremists seeking to terrorize and disrupt the vote are a threat to the election and throughout Inauguration Day.
Radicalized right wing ex-military thrill killers.
So if you don’t want violence, vote Trump.
Because BLM/Antifa certainly won’t riot in a hundred cities causing dozens of deaths and billions of dollars in damage.
Why are these warnings always about one side? It’s a mystery.
Have we heard this reasoning and rhetoric before? I want to say yes but I cant quite remember where.
Also, where were these guys when the black panthers were masked and armed, threatening voters at the polls in Philadelphia in late 2012, just to cite one example?

I mean, when I go watch a stream either I wanna see gratuitous cleavage, properly placed mirrors or just mindless game play, not politicians ramble on.
I should get you in touch with my ex. Her current feed/passion is streaming her game play. Huge Yankees fan and had an MLB one before. She has what you need. (Legit.) Was a Manhattan int’l tax lawyer for quite a while, and sorta got sick of it. Uh. Not sure if linking her Twitch is doxxing her. She’s currently on Dark Souls III. I wouldn’t mind giving her more viewers.
Fascinating woman. I could go on about her at length.
I gave up that game in high school.
Wizards of the Coast has since made me happy with that decision.
Common knowledge that presidential speeches have been getting less sophisticated over time (quantified here using the Flesch-Kincaid readability test). Less common knowledge is that this change wasn’t linear; there’s a clear drop right around 1920.

It would have been better if the poop were sitting in a chair behind the desk, but I’ll take it.
Political artwork on the National Mall two weeks before an election. Good job NPS.
Was there actually any evidence that anyone pooped in the Capitol? I keep hearing that, but you’d think there would be pictures to prove it.

The United States’ post COVID-19 economic recovery has been the envy of the developed world, with strong consumer spending and business and federal investment helping the economy dodge a predicted recession. Stock markets are at record highs, jobs and wages are growing fast, unemployment is low and inflation is now below January 2020 levels after a spike in 2022.
But prices for food, rent, utilities and treats like dining out are all well above 2019 levels, because of complex factors the U.S. government has limited impact on, like labor costs, lack of competition and supply chain issues.
You never saw Joe Biden and Kamala Harris walking picket lines, or putting the thumb of government on labor negotiations. They never flooded the economy with new money. They had nothing to do with strangling production and distribution.
When I snap my fingers you will awake refreshed and happy, with a sense of deep gratitude to the Democrat administration. You will feel nothing but optimism and joy.

Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic nominee, and Trump have proposed different fixes. Harris has promised to fight price gouging and boost a child tax credit, opens new tab, while Trump has proposed cutting taxes on overtime pay, imposing blanket tariffs on imports that he says will bring manufacturing back to the U.S. and mass deportation of immigrants.
Trump’s proposed tariffs and deportation threats will drive up prices for goods and services, many economists say, while Harris’ price-gouging ban is untested on a federal level.
Facts checked.
while Harris’ price-gouging ban is untested on a federal level.
Pay not attention to other countries that have implemented price controls. It will work in America.
This systematic review aims to examine how sexual orientation influences body odor preferences, sexual attraction, and partner selection, and to assess whether olfactory communication in the sexual context observed in heterosexual individuals also applies to non-heterosexual individuals. Based on the findings of this systematic review, it is evident that odors play a significant role in influencing sexual attraction across various sexual orientations. Regarding the attractiveness of one’s own odor, no clear preferences for potential partners’ odors were observed, but rather a consistent preference based on gender: The odor of heterosexual women was considered the most attractive, regardless of the evaluator’s gender and sexual orientation. The odor of non-heterosexual women was preferred only when compared to the odor of gay men in forced choices. The odor of gay men was exclusively preferred by other gay men, but not universally. The results are particularly pronounced among homosexual men, revealing preferences for odors of both the same sex and those of other homosexual men. However, to date, there remains insufficient evidence demonstrating a preference or detection of potential partners among non-heterosexual women.

The Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office on Monday filed a lawsuit seeking to stop Elon Musk and his political action committee from awarding $1 million to registered voters in swing states, accusing them of “running an illegal lottery.”
The lawsuit by DA Larry Krasner, which accuses Musk and his America PAC of trying to influence voters in the presidential election, comes days after the U.S. Department of Justice warned America PAC that its $1 million daily sweepstakes might violate federal election law.
Krasner’s suit lawsuit names both the Tesla CEO Musk and America PAC as defendants.
Who said you could do that?
