Powerful: This Broadway Production Called A Little Retarded Girl Up On Stage
That’s all I got for today. I’ll leave you with a song and move along with my day.
Nice of the Broadway show to invite Kamala Harris on stage.
Eh. Read the article.
They don’t actually mention KBJ and I suppose you could miss the meaning of the last paragraph if you didn’t know the real story. Which remains ridiculous.

Still wondering why we have government employees unions….should be abolished immediately.
JFK baby, and just an Executive Order. That’s one Trump can rescind.
That would be hysterical. I thought that was more the an EO.
Really???
Donald, get on this!!!1!
Pubsec unions are one of the most destructive forces in America.
I work for a publicly owned governmental entity that was bullied into Union representation about a decade ago. Every time I tell my co-workers that our Union representation should be illegal they look at me like I’m a crazy person. They cannot conceptualize what I’m even talking about. They love their annual cost of living adjustments and mob protection, any argument on morality and public fairness falls on deaf ears. Basically, “We’re getting ours, shut the fuck up and don’t try and ruin this for everybody”. Morons.
Your cow-orkers should be down on their knees thanking taxpayers like me.
That is Teds’ kink.
“Still wondering why we have government employees unions….should be abolished immediately.”
If DOGE doesn’t recommend this they are not being serious.

How does one institute an involuntary recural against a clearly biased official?

The one time “Learn to Code” really isn’t apt. We don’t need more back doors for their buddies.
Still can’t say I hugely care if FedGov folks WfH as long as their job isn’t customer facing (i.e. they don’t need to be there for folks to come consult with / talk to like Ag Dept. outreach [or is that only a state thing? I know growing up there were county level offices to work with farmers… probably less with ag consolidation these days] and the job is getting done. With Elon in DOGE — don’t expect that to matter… he very much has a “you must be here working 70 hour weeks or you’re lazy!” bugs up his butt. But really — part of breaking up DC could be WfH where apt all around the country instead of blocks of cancer in the Swamp.
Wow… worse than having to take them back 365 days a year.. now they have to do 367? Is that the Mayan calendar? 😉
Obligatory: See this face? Take a good, long look… This is the face that doesn’t care a whit about what you just said. (to paraphrase a bit)
Morning, all.
If you can’t make it into the office 367 days a year, you’re subject to RIF.
After being RIF’d twice, that really doesn’t scare me anymore.
Since the goal is headcount reduction rather than getting people into the office, fear doesn’t play a part.
Consensus at work is that this is not going to change anything.
Unless you count the facilities that have reduced office space/network capabilities/ etc.
There are federal office buildings where half the people wont be able to do their jobs because there is no space.
Going to be another cluster…
There was a French doctor who came up with a nifty trick for headcount reduction. Maybe we should borrow that idea?
And there are other federal office buildings that are more than half empty.
Pol Pot was French-educated, but he was no doc. Shotty Potty didn’t come up with a nifty trick to do so, but he did have fun with the pyramidal styling of the aftermath. Each skull gets a sticker! Red and Blue for men and women, respectively, and children got a little orange one! Many/most of the skulls had a clean bullet hole somewhere on it. Ribs, femurs, and other long bones were collected and displayed separately.
Prison S21, the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, is perhaps the most haunting place I’ve ever been. In the middle of the Cambodian jungle, it stands in stark contrast to Dachau, the only concentration camp I’ve visited, where the mechanical efficiency freezes you. The open haste of the Cambodian operation, highlighted by the Execution Tree where, children were bashed to death, is far more wrenching than the steely organization of Zie Germans, despite their vastly higher kill count. Yheart’sMMV. The Germans were ‘better’ at it, which is also a nightmarish thought to occupy your mind.
I’ve seen this man’s cell. It was maybe 4’x10′ and uh. The whole cell block Is fucking haunting. “Chum Mey (Khmer: ជុំ ម៉ី, Chŭm Mei [cum məj]; born c. 1930) is one of only seven known adult survivors of the Khmer Rouge imprisonment in the S-21 Tuol Sleng camp, where 20,000 prisoners, mostly Cambodians, were sent for execution.”

Well, apparently my car hates me.
I just got a new clutch put in and went to pick it up.
Service manager says it’s fine and the mechanic just test drove it an hour ago.
I pay and get my key, go to start it and the key won’t turn.
KEY NOT RECOGNIZED message shows on the info screen.
Mechanic and I try everything we can think of for 2 hours before we give up (they were closing).
Car battery is good, key battery is good.
Fob will lock and unlock the doors and open the trunk.
The TECH 2 says the car recognizes the key, but the immobilizer is active.
What the what?!?
Is this still your only form of transport? Good luck!
No, I am driving my truck every day now.
I am going to take my spare key and hope that works this afternoon.
Sounds like something that would happen to Derpy. You haven’t pissed off anyone with the agencies, have you?
I hadn’t thought of that, maybe I’m on a “Not allowed to drive a Saab” list.
The part that really confuses me is the fact he drove it an hour before I got there.
I know he did because the engine was still warm.
So this is a Saab story
Do you get the feeling something got dislodged, wire broken or not properly connected after the work?
If, hypothetically, the transmission pinched and broke a wire from vibration during the test drive, the car would still run. It’s designed not to turn off mid ride.
It could be unhappy coincidence too!
Call the Saab dealer…
Why we didn’t buy another Saab when my wife’s got wrecked even though I really liked that car.
I usually do my own work, but a clutch in this seemed like it would be asking for trouble.
It was difficult to find someone willing to work on this one. This one is a Chevy service center, the engine is from GM.
Even the Euro import shops said they didn’t work on a Saab this old.(2005 with 260,000 miles)
Is this one of the Saabs that had to be in reverse to get the key out? Did working on the clutch mess that up?
Stupid question, you said the key won’t turn, do you mean it physically won’t turn or the key turns but the engine won’t turn over?
It’s a manual and the gearshift has no relation to the key turning or not.
Also, he drove it an hour before I got there.
The key physically will not turn. The buttons on the fob still work, but it won’t do anything in the ignition.
Ah, but did you check the thermostat?
I forgot. Saabs lock the transmission!
If the key will not turn, there may be an issue with either wheel load keeping the pin stuck as Brooks suggests or a shift linkage issue. I also posted some other stuff further down, but that was based on the key turning, but not engaging the starter when turned.
Now do every other department. Joe said on day one that fostering racism was the top priority for every outfit in the government.
I bet that came from Obama’s people during Obama admin 3.0. Joe’s brain was likely already mostly Jello when he did that.
Looks like the knives are out for Obama, and that is awesome. It’s about time people were able to see what a destructive, criminal, anti-freedom, America hating scumbag this guy and his cabal and policies were about.
We are where we are today, a shit world and a country that looked to be in decay, because of his “fundamental changes”.
Meh. As if “respectable” Democrats like Schumer and Pelosi weren’t already doing enough damage before Obama arrived on the scene.

Calling for gun control a couple of weeks after pardoning his son for gun crimes – what an asshole.
Gun control is not about safety or even about guns. It is not meant to save lives, reduce crime or violence, none of the things it’s adherents purport it to be about.
Daniel Penny was prosecuted for the same reason. The people pushing gun control want to victimize you. They do not want you to be able to defend yourself and they do not want anyone else stepping up to defend you. They want to victimize you and fully intend to do so if they get their way. It is as simple as that.
Do not give up your guns under any circumstances.

Yeah, sure.

The Ukrainian biolabs were once Russian so they know all about them.
When Ukraine got out of Russia’s clutches, the West had a really awful problem on their hands. They could close all the labs but then that would leave a huge problem with all these these scientists who knew a lot *and* could do a lot. And if they were fired, they were concerned about where they would go and what they do.
They chose to let them keep doing “research” in the hopes of staving off some immediate problems. And then just did anything about the situation for many decades.

The deal, which was first reported by Bloomberg, covers roughly 42,000 Social Security employees around the country. Under the agreement, requirements for workers range from being in office from two to five days per week, the outlet reported, citing people familiar with the matter.
Oddly enough, I stopped by my local SS office a few days ago. It’s like the worst days of the plague. Everything is sealed off, and the only “receptionist” is an armed guard. He directed me to take a card with a phone number on it, and call for an “appointment’. When I called, looking for an in=person meeting, the guy told me “it doesn’t work that way anymore.” Nobody sees the Wizard.
I said, “Gee, it’s like they’re forcing everybody to go to the website,” and he said, “That’s exactly right.”
Fire them all.
“Fire them all.”
Stop fucking teasing me.
I have told this story before but it is worth telling again.
My grandfather used to take us to his camp on Cotile lake for weekends. He was going to take my brother and I fishing once when we were about 5 and 6 years old along with our mother.
He had his John boat next to the dock and was loading it with ice chests, fishing gear etc.
Several times while he was loading it my mother warned him that he was overloading the boat. He insisted that he wasn’t and kept saying “It’ll float!”
If you have heard the story before you already know….if you haven’t you can probably guess.
When he stepped into the boat to give us all assistance in coming aboard the water was barely an inch from the top of the hull. My mother warned him again about the boat being overloaded. He still insisted “It’ll float! It’ll float!”
Of course when my brother stepped into the boat it started taking on water. My mother hopped back to the dock but it was too late. While standing in the sinking boat my grandfather kept insisting “It’ll float! It’ll float!” until the boat was firmly on the bottom and he only had his shoulders and head above water. Afterwards and for the rest of the weekend he was completely puzzled as to why the boat had sunk. In his mind it should have floated.
*Looks at links….sips coffee
Yeah, some people refuse to accept they have misdiagnosed the situation.
I was thinking specifically about the green new deal and all things relating to the pols looting the treasury. Half of them are thinking “It’ll float!” and the other half are thinking “Sink the motherfucker!”
Something stinks about this SoftBank deal. I don’t know what it is yet, but there’s something not right.
must be the Nattō
I pay and get my key, go to start it and the key won’t turn.
KEY NOT RECOGNIZED message shows on the info screen.
Very weird. Based on my minimal knowledge, the key should still physically operate the lock. The key should turn, but the immobilizer won’t power the ignition.
But if you were at the dealer, they should know.
Remember there are no SAAB dealers anymore.
This seems to be what everyone forgets. I would start looking into aftermarket support, SAAB forums and the like at this stage. I am sure someone has delt with this before, and will have some solution. Which might be replacing the cars “brain.”

I don’t dismount until Lady’s fully satisfied. Well. She finished our Take-Out and left me the cookie. I keep getting sequel fortunes. “Your luck will improve.” Well, it hasn’t since the *last* time ya told me that. I should eat more.
Going into “Did you try turning it off and then back on” territory here: is the steering column under a turning load so the column locking pin won’t release?
We tried jiggling the wheel while attmpting to turn the key.
He could unlock the ignition to so the accessories would turn on, but the starter would not engage.
He said that was the anti-theft immobilizer, but he couldn’t find a way around it.
Are there other Saabs at this shop? Is it possible your key got mixed up? I know it’s a Saab and not a GM, but they shared a lot of tech. If it’s based on Passkey, you should be able to relearn it by leaving in the ignition for 10 minutes, wait for the immob light to go off or stop blinking and then shut it off and repeat 2 more cycles of that. If the key is merely out of sync, I’ve gotten away with one cycle of that and then starting the car.
It is definitely my key, had my Saab key ring on it and the buttons work on the doors and trunk.
I will try this relearn trick tonight.
Try the spare first. Most anti-theft modules know which key is which and if the spare works, you have another possibility for retraining the possibly corrupted key, that’s to leave the spare in till the anti-theft either goes off or stops blinking, then, within 5 seconds of removing that key, insert the other key and attempt to start. Again, this works on GM Passkey, so may work on your Saab.
Ron, this may be helpful.

I’ve had the saved on my phone and tablet for a while, it is very helpful.
I will try that, thanks.

Brilliant. Just the kind of this these people would do.
Another dumb question about immobilizer keys- can they be affected by some external effect, like magnetism? Could the key have been on or close to something which would disrupt the signal?
I doubt it, remember he drove it an hour before I got there and they had it in the bag with my paperwork when I arrived to pick it up.

This.
Obama was the order giver put in office by the 1960 terrorists and marxist movement. He was chosen, groomed, promoted, elected, and took his marching orders from Ayers and his bunch. Yeah, Obama is not smart enough to hold an original thought, but he did hire & promote people that would push this agenda. The cabal that foisted this idiot on us all then went out of their way to create this false image that Obama was the left’s heroic savior (he was anything but). There are still idiots out there that tell you if you don’t like Obama it is because of his skin color, while ignoring you pointing out what sort of evil douchebag he was.
But his wife and kids are so dreamy!

You’ve got gremlins.
Every time I watch some youtube which involves somebody dealing with an immobilizer and/or reprogramming the key(s) I just think about what a giant pointless additional layer of complexity it adds. The determined pro has all that knowledge and all that equipment. He can probably get your car started faster and easier than the guys who put the clutch in it.

Not even President yet and he’s overthrowing the governments of our allies
“The Great State of Canada is stunned as the Finance Minister resigns, or was fired, from her position by Governor Justin Trudeau,” Trump shared on Truth Social late Monday night. “Her behavior was totally toxic and not at all conducive to making deals which are good for the very unhappy citizens of Canada. She will not be missed!!!!”
Freeland made a dramatic exit from Trudeau’s Cabinet on Monday, citing differences with Trudeau over economic policy and Trump’s tariff threats. In her resignation letter, she warned that how Canada deals with Trump “will define us for a generation, and perhaps longer.”
The bombshell announcement ended Freeland’s run as deputy prime minister and Trudeau’s trusted right hand, especially during the first Trump administration when the president reopened continental trade talks that posed a primordial threat to the Canadian economy.
A primordial threat? Somebody take this person’s thesaurus away.
Primordial also means basic or fundamental. I guess Canada ceases to exist if it can’t sell timber, potash, nickel, and beaver pelts to U.S. manufacturers.
Denmark continues our scarily harsh measures
This women was raped by her taxi driver Abbas Fadhel Abbas Mahdi Al-Zehri, who was identified by DNA.
We can’t have a society where women can’t be safe to take taxis, so we went all-in on harsh punishment for the rapist: One and a half years in prison. And on top of that, a warning of deportation!
But even that wasn’t harsh enough. The verdict was appealed to a higher court, which increased the prison time by a further half a year. And six years of deportation.
This is veering into cruel and unusual territory for punishment. But that’s how we do it here. No more raping of Danish taxi passengers for Abbas Fahdel Abbas until at least 2030.

How are things in Romania? Sounds like you might have to get rid of democracy in order to save it from the Romanians?
https://www.maurizioblondet.it/reomania-la-dewmokazia-soros-in-azione/
Am I cynical to think the big secret meeting to show evidence to the supreme court involved bags of cash and pictures of their family members?
I don’t speak eyetalian.
Right now things are in limbo. There will be elections held in the spring again. No idea if the nutjob is allowed to run again. Or how the moron demographic reacts to this.
the court is a tool of the PSD party and as the election did not go their way the court ruled as they did. They are not that independent, no pressure needed.
So the only way to change the government is to once again put people in front of a wall and shoot them?
Well, it is kind of a Romanian national tradition.
The way was the elections without the original court fuckery which led to these results. i will probably have a post on this. I started it but it grew too much so i submited one on romania history, if published i will follow up with one on current events.

The judge said that even if he found that some evidence related to official conduct, he’d still conclude that prosecutors’ decision to use “these acts as evidence of the decidedly personal acts of falsifying business records poses no danger of intrusion on the authority and function of the Executive Branch.”
Even if prosecutors had erroneously introduced evidence that could be challenged under an immunity claim, Merchan continued, “such error was harmless in light of the overwhelming evidence of guilt.”
The same judge who did everything he could to assist the prosecution now tells us it was a fair and impartial trial? That settles it.
Frenchman Dominique Pelicot tried for arranging mass rape of his wife of 50 years. “It was on a so-called dating website that Pelicot was able to chat freely with others about sexual violence and instigate rapes of his then-wife. Gisele Pelicot was drugged by him and, while unconscious, raped over 200 times by 70 men who all first met Pelicot online.” https://www.cnn.com/interactive/2024/12/europe/gisele-pelicot-france-case-messages/
“It’s time that the macho, patriarchal society that trivializes rape changes,” Gisele Pelicot said in her final statement to the court. “It’s time we changed the way we look at rape.”’
She certainly has every justification against legit patriarchal dominance, and is even correct, but not for the reasons she thinks. Was rethinking it yesterday, the #MeToo shit has me actively disbelieving certain claims of abuse. She is not one of them. I *do* wonder what other fuckery he was up to, cuz it didn’t stop with his wife. (He was convicted in ’20 for upskirting random chicks.) I hope I’m not numb to exposure, as I do know all sorts of shit men do to women, now and historically. It’s being purposefully used to destroy natural biology and hardwiring – It isn’t natural for humans to get written approval for each escalating step in necking foreplay. I’ve seen plenty of folk get canceled without trial, without negative repercussions for the accusers. We really should do something about that.
𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐭 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐟𝐚𝐥𝐬𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬. Ah! Where the Bible and Constitution align! One of about half the Commandments I do agree with. Fairly simple redress, in my (some of our, IIRC) opinions: If bullshit is taken to court, false accusers get the punishments their ‘victims’ would have received if unfairly convicted based on the false testimony. Don’t shit where ya eat? Kinda like ‘If ya serve shit to your customers, you’re forced to eat it as punishment. With everyone watching, broadcast live. No Pie-in-Face abuse allowed, either. Wouldn’t dream of making the shit taste better. (Our beloved Pie may have a wonderful, tarty red currant pie. Seems suitable. Also fun: “Crust” doesn’t get the ridicule “moist” does as a horrible-sounding word, but Christ. “Crust” is nasty. CrrrrrussssssT.)
Ev, does your vertical hold need adjustment?
See my Cambodia suggestion above.
Swimming to Cambodia – Not see it though I’d love to. First up, I’ve still to see The Killing Fields, and was even rereading about it today. I love Sam Waterston from Law & Order fame. (If it ain’t got Jerry Orbach in it, it ain’t worth watching. If it does, it highly is.) It also stars young John Malkovich and should be necessary viewing for me. Seeing where/how they filmed would be fascinating. Cambodia was easy enough in ~2015, but yikes it’s a land of “You’re obviously in a Third-World fucking jungle country. “Quick! Look over there, away from the mass graves! The scenery fucking gorgeous!” Pics of Waterston with a beard, not even a decade before L&O, make him look drastically different. There really is something to beard disguises, but he just looks so different without salt ‘n pepper. It’s still certainly him, though. (Note: My grey-in phase will looking fucking FABULOUS.)
I am unsure if my “vertical hold” needs adjustment. I’m 5’6.5″. (Love they included that .5 for some reason.) Am I…looking too downward? Or do I need to grab on to something? I feel I’m fumbling about with things I don’t know how to unclasp. Ah, the joys of being a high schooler again.
I was just teasing you about being loquacious.
I don’t think one must see TKF before StC, although it would help.
Another brain injury! Saw Spald with a plate in his head months after the car accident. Look at all that you two have in common. :-s
Teehee! And its deserved. I’ve become worried about my wordiness, though it’s me trying to actively shed my constant AP-style prose. Everything looks far bigger here! [Insert.. well. Anything here.] And yep! Our injury overlap is heavily shaded.
“In the crash, [Spalding Grey] suffered a broken hip, which left his right leg almost immobilized, and a fracture in his skull. During surgery on his skull, a titanium plate was placed over the break after surgeons removed dozens of bone fragments from his frontal cortex, leaving a jagged scar on his forehead.” <– OUCH. I guess I've never broken my hip. Mine died from lack of blood flow and were amputated. (Is that worse? It sounds worse, but no way it actually is. Broken femurs fucking suck.) Also, how come I didn't get a plate?! Maybe woulda been easier/better. I've got 'all' my bits back, all wired up. One scar buzzed in, but nothing's visible unless I make it so. My skull'd be the hardest damn putt-putt course for The Borrowers to play on. I'm an awfully cute puppy when my hair/head are played with.

Huge math error corrected in black plastic study; authors say it doesn’t matter

Quality peer reviewing too!
Always with the racist plastic.
“The authors made a math error that put the estimated risk from kitchen utensils off by an order of magnitude.”
“The error made it seem like the estimated exposure was nearly at the safe limit, even though it was actually less than a tenth of the limit.”
“ While being off by an order of magnitude seems like a significant error, the authors don’t seem to think it changes anything. “This calculation error does not affect the overall conclusion of the paper,” the correction reads.”
Science(tm)!
The black plastic is about 5 times more dangerous than the white plastic, but no one wants to admit it.
Imbalance
Apprenticeships combine paid on-the-job training with classroom time. Increasing their use has bipartisan support and was a rare subject of agreement between the presidential candidates in the recent election.
They’ve also benefited from growing public skepticism about the need for college: Only 1 in 4 adults now says a four-year degree is extremely or very important to get a good job, the Pew Research Center finds. And nearly two-thirds of 14- to 18-year-olds say their ideal education would involve learning skills on the job, as in apprenticeships, according to a survey by the ECMC Group.
But while more Americans may see apprenticeships as a path into the workforce, employers have generally been slow to offer them.
Put simply, Williams says: “We have more learners than we have employers.”
You can’t just hire a kid and teach him what he needs to know without a formalized government program and a lot of paperwork. That’s just not how it works.
“Hockey player Matthew Petgrave crowdfunding for legal fees following death of fellow athlete Adam Johnson: Canadian hockey player Matthew Petgrave has begun crowdfunding to help cover his legal fees in connection with the death of fellow hockey player Adam Johnson. Johnson, who played for the Nottingham Panthers in England, died last October after sustaining a cut to the neck in a collision with another player during a game against the Sheffield Steelers. https://www.cnn.com/2024/12/17/sport/matthew-petgrave-crowdfunding-adam-johnson-hockey-spt/index.html
A Sheffield coroner’s report published in November last year found that the 29-year-old “sustained an incised wound to the neck caused by the skate of another player” and later died in hospital as a result of the injury.” Well, that’s haunting. Much sympathy for all involved. Nature don’t play. RIP.
An emerging body of research nationwide blames this imbalance partly on reluctance among employers to provide apprenticeships. Training people for work, after all, was a job that most of them previously relied on colleges and universities to do.
More nonsense written by somebody who thinks 2005 was a long time ago.
Not so long ago, training and promotion from within were the norm.
“What’s holding it back is the cost, both in terms of the financial cost and the people who are going to engage the trainees,” says Nicole Smith, chief economist at the Georgetown University Center on Education and the Workforce. “The way employers see it, they’re going to invest this money and train these people, but they have no guarantee of keeping them. There’s no contract that says you have to stay. And who wants to train their competitors? Nobody.”
Okay, Egghead.
Weird. When my hospital would pay for education and certification programs, there was a contract that said you had to pay back a pro-rated amount if you left before, typically, three years after completing the program. If you left before completing the program, you had to pay it all back.
It’s not a mandate if it only mandates 50%.
During the campaign, candidate Trump made repeated references to ending a supposed EV mandate. In fact, policies put in place by current US President Joe Biden only call for 50 percent of all new vehicles to be electrified by 2032 under EPA rules meant to cut emissions by 56 percent from 2026 levels.
https://arstechnica.com/cars/2024/12/on-trumps-chopping-block-evs-charger-funding-californias-emissions/
Not mentioned: the requirements for ICE that make them unworkable, so that the only realistic legal option is an EV.
“We don’t have nearly enough seats to meet demand,” says Jennie Niles, president and CEO of CityWorks DC, a nonprofit that offers apprenticeships for high school students in Washington, D.C. “The reason we don’t have the demand from the employers is because it’s so complicated. Employers first and foremost need it to be easy for them.”
Among other things, employers are discouraged by red tape. The federal government recognizes so-called registered apprenticeships, which require employers to meet quality standards and provide worker protections and must be approved by the Department of Labor or a state apprenticeship agency.
“It’s a ton of paperwork,” says Williams of Edu-REACH.
The Labor Department proposed updates to the regulations aimed at strengthening worker protections, among other changes. Critics complained this would only make things worse, and the proposal was quietly withdrawn last month.
Jayziss wept.
Advocates for apprenticeships want more funding for intermediaries such as Edu-REACH and CityWorks DC that connect prospective apprentices with employers.
“We have to help steward the business through building these types of experiences,” says Betsy Revell, senior vice president at EmployIndy, the workforce board in Indianapolis, which does this. “They need a lot of help figuring it out. They’ve never had to supervise a 16- or 17-year-old before, or help them identify coursework” that is typically a part of apprenticeship programs.
Just what we need. More Democrat-adjacent nonprofit slush funds.
Nobody knows how to teach a kid to pull up his pants and put his hat on straight and show up for work on time. That takes a village of sociology majors.
“Look at how complicated expensive the regulations make apprenticeships! The only conceivable solution is funding for bureaucracies to manage the complication we created!”
That is literally all their minds are capable of. I remember ToS being all in on “You can’t just repeal OCare! What are you going to replace it with!”.
