For whatever reason when I began to invest money in the stock market, I often found myself doubting “experts”.
This is my review of Evil Twin Brewing Even More Irish Jesus:

I have decided this mistrust of experts is actually more of a correlation than a causation, since around that time pretty much every “expert” began to make fools of themselves.
Apparently, any attempt to compete with SpaceX is futile.
“No offense to the 183 launch companies that I’m tracking on my website, but that’s not the future of the space industry,” said Meagan Crawford, founder and managing partner of SpaceFund, a venture capital fund that offers databases of companies in the launch industry and other sectors. “The question is, what’s being launched?”
Concerns about competing against SpaceX in launch or other areas are heightened now that the company’s founder and chief executive, Elon Musk, is playing a prominent role in the new Trump administration. “If I was an investor, I would be wary of any company that was going to be competitive with SpaceX,” said Christopher Thein, chief executive of EOI Space, an imaging company, “because it seems like there is a leaning that way for this administration.”
The other warning they have is vertical integration, that is a launch company moving multiple aspects of space launch entirely in house. This is just going to make it more expensive to achieve. There’s no sense in trying right?

Other experts are predicting by 2030 space industry will grow from $14 to $40 billion per year, and another predicting $64 billion by 2034. Seems like there is plenty of room for competition, but I only posted sites that publish reports for free. Who knows what USAID funded research these guys paid for hundreds of times per year they are basing their predictions that SpaceX will be some sort of launch monopoly.
Oh yes. Meanwhile at NASA, the stranded astronauts SpaceX will rescue later this year, don’t “feel” stranded.
Why not wait until its closer to St. Patrick’s Day to review this one? Listen I don’t tell you how to do your job. Though I admit I am having difficulty coming up with an “Irish in Space” joke without stepping on Mel Brooks’ toes or without having to acknowledge the only enlisted character in any Star Trek series just happened to be Irish. Star Fleet Academy: Irish need not apply. At least they didn’t kill off Chief O’Brien. Is this beer like O’Brien? I don’t know, I’m not a trekkie. It is a perfectly cromulent interpretation of the dry Irish Stout. By dry, I do mean dry. This one is hella dry. Dark chocolate, bitter coffee, foamy head, easy to take down a pint in four swigs or less—its all there. Evil Twin Brewing Even More Irish Jesus: 4.0/5 4.7% ABV.
It’s starting to warm up here.
Been drinking blue moons mango beer and an Aldi knock off (mango ride).
Neither are as good as mango cart.
3/5 for the blue moon
I’m not sure how they got a picture of neph riding his bike, but only 2.5/4 for mango ride.
Even more Irish sounds great. Now to wait for cooler weather…
Pretty sure the only time someone would put a picture of me on a beer is to decrease sales of it. 🙂
I didn’t say it helped me buy it…
I can’t confirm his Academy attendance, but Riley WAS a lieutenant. And descended from Irish kings!!!
I blame my oldest sister for my knowledge of that.
One! More! Time!
I don’t remember that guy but I can state with some confidence that O’Brien is one of if not the best character in all of Trekdom.
The most important person in Starfleet history: Chief Miles O’Brien
Ugh, now I want to pick someone else. Pay-stream fake Trek doesn’t count.
Considering that for centuries Ireland had dozens if not hundreds of kings, most of whom spread their seed far and wide, almost anyone who’s Irish can claim descent from one.
+1 Genghis Khan
Well, he was a redhead, so you can’t rule it out.
That’s who I was thinking of.
Now that we’re a half hour in, let me repost a question I asked in the AM Lynx thread: How does Letitia James have standing here, but the states in Murthy v. Missouri don’t?
You need to expound a little more, what case are you talking about?
This one from the AM Lynx thread.
As we all might have guessed by now, it is only the taxpayers who pay for everything that have “no standing.” Leeches, grifters, politicians (but I repeat myself) can all present before a judge (in certain jurisdictions) and stop any action designed to favor taxpayers or advocates of the Bill of Rights.
It is just barely possible that the courts are not free from TDS.
I agree TedS.
‘The suit alleges that DOGE’s access to the Treasury records could interfere with funding already appropriated by Congress, ‘
Usually a party needs to have actually been damaged as well before filling a suit.
I’m guessing this was filed under section FYTW of the penal code.
That should fail on ripeness as well as standing.
It should also fail the likelihood to prevail prong of the injunction analysis under the deference to internal matters of the other branches dictated by Separation of Powers.
FWIW, I think the standing issue in Murthy was wrongly decided.
Here the states have standing because the states are the recipients of the federal funds.
I’ll also drag something from the AM since y’all being so quiet.
“Sotomayor might always retire; I understand her health is deteriorating.”
Weekend at Sonia’s, Joseph Biden part deux.
She’ll be right out of a Warren Zevon song- “I’ll Retire When I Am Dead”
Nothing short of death will keep her off the Nazgul. Even thinking about OMB naming her replacement gives her a YUGE shot of energy to keep going.
Wisened Latina?
“Death is what happens while you are making other plans.” – Clemens
She is already brain-dead so it is just a matter of the body following. If she is in that bad shape, I encourage her. It isn’t quite the same as Ginsberg as Trump is already president. Given the behavior I have seen so far from the Dems Vance is a shoe-in at this point. He would have to screw up something very badly to lose. Campaign: show endless clips of dem lunacy and then ask “Do you really want to go back to this?”
Fetterman is the only dem I see who could put up a serious run and the ultimate irony would be him appointing the same candidate for SC that Trump or Vance would.
What we are seeing is the death of the Democrat party. I called it about three years ago. They are already dead, they just dont know it yet.
Doubt on Fetterlump.
Who else do they have that isn’t certifiably insane?
Shapiro?
Shapiro is as much a lunatic and compulsive liar as the rest of them he is just better at hiding it.
Fetterman seems….surreal. He is sensible and actually tells the truth most of the time. I have trouble believing he is a Democrat.
“Vance is a shoe-in at this point.”
Depends on the economy in 2028.
President Fetterlump would be Idiocracy realized.
How does Letitia James have standing here, but the states in Murthy v. Missouri don’t?
In much the same way that Musk and his team are a dire threat to “data security” but an army of government contractors and employees are not.
You know… fuck you, that’s why.
I am absolutely shocked by how based JD Vance has turned out to be:
https://instapundit.com/701308/
Dayum. Based, I think the kids say.
And THAT is why Vance is a shoe in for ’28.
I am absolutely shocked by how based JD Vance has turned out to be:
I still don’t know much about him, because I haven’t bothered to find out. He seemed such a darling of the left when his book came out I didn’t have any sort of high expectations.
Yeah, I vaguely remember that. Weird!
I got nearly zero sleep last night. I am napping on and off today. I wake up from one nap spell and discover (on wife’s TV show) that OMB is deporting saints. A dreamer who is a firefighter saving. babies from fires and has a mysterious halo over his head is discovered and the heartless ghouls doing OMB’s bidding are deporting him. Oh my.
Weaponizing empathy. Fuck these people. And fuck that fictional firefighter too. Send his ass to oogabooga and he can dream there.
I might be open to some case by case review if we didn’t have 20MM illegals to deport.
I am absolutely certain that we will end up deporting some number of people who would make wonderful citizens. The numbers are large enough that that is inevitable. But they broke the rules by coming illegally and as you say, the job is too big for case by case reviews.
we’ve got the biggest balls of them all
The next hostage exchange is 61:1 Palestinians per Israeli. I am baffled that at least half the population is blind to the obvious conclusion from this about which side actually values human life.
Your statement includes the assumption that the rest of the world considers the Israelis human.
Logically speaking the math would argue that it is the Palestinians who are of less worth and the Israelis greater.
Absolutely right. A quick look at BBC coverage is a good example of how any Hamas action can be justified.
The supply of violent Gazans jailed in Israel seems endless.
How much are they worth? 1:50? Ok, kill 50 Palestinians for every Israeli that died at Hamas’ hands since Oct. 7, 2023.
If they cant execute the ones in prison just randomly choose them wherever they are.
I’m just having too much fun with this:

Is Big Balls the racist one? I can’t keep up.
Of course a comment about big balls is made by David….dons sunglasses……SACKS

It’s all infringement. Start there.
Remove sanctions on weapon and ammo imports. Repeal the NFA.
And the GC68.
Hm, this was the guy who outlawed bump stocks, right?
Yes it is.
Yeah, nobody ever got rich by competing against the big guys in the industry. Once they’re on top, they’ll always be on top.
We should probably discuss it over lunch at the Howard Johnson’s restaurant, and then I’ve got to run over to Kmart to grab a few things.

Federal Judge orders Trump to stop shutting down the theft.
How does one get rid of Federal Judges? Something something impeachment, right? That is congress’ job, isn’t it?
Where are the Republicans? They have the house and Senate. What are they doing?
I have been hearing about $500 hammers since I was a little kid. I have heard R’s talking about shutting down waste and fraud every day since. I have been hearing R’s talk about shrinking government all of my life yet it always grows. Where are the Republicans? Where is my Obamacare repeal? Where is the impeachment of Biden? Obama? The Federal judges?
What is next? The AG is going to try and shut down rogue prosecutors and/or investigate/prosecute DA’s that have been relentlessly fomenting crime? And what, a Federal Judge will tell them they cant do that? Where is the investigation into these Federal Judges?
I dont think our self-appointed aristocracy understands just how much public opinion has turned against them.
I dont think our self-appointed aristocracy understands just how much public opinion has turned against them.
That J6 shindig should have let them know the “consent of the governed” is not irrevocable. But they weren’t paying attention.
They only pretend to believe it was a rebellion.
They only pretend to believe it was a rebellion.
They only pretend to believe in democracy, purely as it suits them.
Bro2 and boyfriend flew in at the last second to help us (me, husband, XX) pack up Mom’s shit and tag her furniture in Horse House. Cunty Aunt Susie’s 2 kids were there. They were not at all cunty and were supervising in an obtrusive manner. Aunt Millie was not cunty at all. In fact, she reverted to usual as if nothing had happened. We chatted like normal people. Cunty Aunt Susie hid. Before that, though, they had collected as much stuff from around the house as they could find that was Mom’s. They even washed the green glass and brought it upstairs. All in all, very easy packing.
I may or may not go back Monday to do a double-check that we got everything. Then, I will arrange for movers (the ones I canceled when I thought I wouldn’t be let in the house) to go get the stuff and I won’t have to be there.
Mom is moving to skilled nursing today. She’s practically giddy. She wants her charger (no, she also cannot live without her electronics), her shoes and socks, and her back scratcher. Yes, Mother.
Also, Bro2 renamed the two remaining horses Elmer and Gorilla.
🤣😂
I like his thinking!
So, Man City won their FA Cup game at Leyton Orient, but this was the opening goal: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=REk6lenzt1I
2.2″x1.4″x.39″ chambered in 2.34mm rimfire. It has all of the features and parts of a full sized revolver.World’s smallest functioning revolver. I want one.

Wait, I cant have one. It is illegal to import because it is considered too easy to conceal. Is that an infringement with an absurd ‘FYTW’ premise? Why yes, yes it is. Laughably so.
Every regulation/ban/liscenture is wildly unconstitutional. The constitution is the supreme law of the land. Any legislative/regulatory act that contravenes it is a crime committed by the state.
Freedom of speech means you are free to say what we decide you are allowed to say. Yes you have a right to arm and defend yourself but only within the restrictions we decide to place. you under.
– exactly the same rationale: Your mind, conscience and body do not belong to you. You have no inalienable rights.
“… It is illegal to import because …”
So it’s like drugs and moonshine… Somewhere there’s someone that knows someone who has a friend. If they are easy to conceal they’ll be easier to import. If there is a demand there will be a supply.
And they based the styling on a Colt.
Nice.
Copying over from previous thread. Man City won their FA Cup but this was the first goal: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=REk6lenzt1I
