Took my oldest to his Jiu Jitsu class last night. At 5’10” 140lbs he is at the point where he is in one standard deviation above the mean for overall size for the class (includes women). So he’s normally stuck rolling with a guy 50-60 pounds heavier. Not this time, only 4 others showed up and he had to roll with a 90lbs girl his age.
He had no trouble of course since she was tiny, but it was funny when they were practicing lateral drops and she elbowed him in the mouth, then managed to submit him a few minutes later. If you’re that small you can’t play by the rules, right?
¡enlaces!

What if your family doesn’t like bread, they like um, cigarettes eggs…is it wrong to steal them? What if we sell them at a price it’s practically stealing, is it still wrong?
Okay I shouldn’t make light of the cartels.

So in order to protect the rainforest we must bulldoze thousands of trees?
On the lighter side of the news.
I’ll go with a St. Paddy’s Day theme for the tune today. Don’t worry, its not Dropkick Murphys.
Gesundheit.
LOL your hatred of Donald is going to ruin your fucking country. Well done, Canadians!
Like Whitmer… that anyone would support the party that was 100 percent behind Trudeau’s dictatorial censorship, repression, seizing of assets, net zero style sinking the economy and pandering to the idea of Original Sin by being Canadian (the whole debunked Catholic School thing he flogged whenever possible, etc.) just astounds me. It shouldn’t matter what OMB says.
But Tories gonna Tory, I suppose… let their chains sit lightly upon them.
And sneer at freedumb because they’re right thinkers.
That poor rainforest — it got bulldozed twice!

I get that El presidente Dudebro is happy to lock up any tatted-up gangbangers we give him but… Venezuelans?
That’s not how any of this works.
They all look alike?
*shrug*
IDGAF, as long as they’re not here.
I bet they’re back in a month or however long it takes SCOTUS to declare that you can’t just deport folks wherever the fuck you feel like.
SCOTUS can issue that ruling WRT to the gangbangers that have been sent to El Salvador if they want, but guess what?
El Salvador is outside their jurisdiction. Just like that flight of deportees was gone, baby, gone when His Imperial Majesty, the DC District Court Judge ordered them not to be deported.
The White House is completely out of fucks to give.
That’s how it works if we are paying Dudebro, which I assume we are.
El Salvador was supposed to be going more small-l libertarian… seems fitting enough to hire out their prisons, I suppose.
As Presidente Dudebro said “We hold them for a very little to you. To us, it is a lot.”
The problem is either a) Venezuela won’t take them back, or b) Venezuela will take them back, but will assist them in returning to the US.
True.
I don’t like this precedent, though.
We are so far down the path of precedents I don’t like, I’m starting to not care. I don’t believe for an instant that if Trump wasn’t deporting undesirables, it would never cross the left’s mind to do so.
I’m imagining flights of the unvaccinated with the same cheering from the left.
That’s not how any of this works.
On one hand, you are absolutely right. On the other hand, in an alternative reality you and I are the ones deported to Central American prison camps.
Roberts refusal to do anything is going cause a Constitutional crisis. Trump and Congress could rearrange the Federal Courts and get rid of these judges if the Supremes let the lower courts keep interfering.
Another commie judge is ruling that USAID must continue to fund commies…
Just as soon as we find them a new building…
They could. And Congress could pass actual budgets. But they won’t because the status quo suits GOPe.
Does seem like he’s not making friends or influencing people, yeah.
The outages come as Cubans are experiencing a severe economic crisis that analysts have blamed on the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, a program of domestic measures that triggered inflation and, above all, the tightening of sanctions by the United States.
Or, y’know, they’ve just run out of other people’s money (first the Russians, then the Venezuelans) to pay for maintenance and infrastructure.
Nah. Better to blame the gringos.
Goblins!
FAFO
I’m sure she’ll exploit her 15 minutes into an OnlyFans page or some lunacy. Or Vice Chair of the DNC — that seems like an easy gig.
That’s *exactly* what I thought.
She’s fucking hot. Would inseminate. ‘Easy’ ploy to get oh-so many(!) views from disgruntled libs, without the realization that it’s becoming tedious even for True Bluers. She could say anything and she’d still make money. (Do more, and more money! Funny how that works!)
Don’t stick it in crazy. Ever.
Yeah, ask Elspeth about the effects of that the next time she’s around.
She must be delighted by this. She gets to be/play the victim, she gets mucho clicks. What more could she want?
The massive blackout that began Friday night was the fourth in the last six months as a severe economic crisis plagues the Caribbean country. The Ministry of Energy and Mines attributed it to a failure at a substation in the suburbs of Havana.
Electricity is a counterrevolutionary vice of the bourgeoisie.
Power to the People’s Representatives! The People themselves are re-volting and lack resistance.
Watt you done did there was seen. Bringin’ it back to Splitters and Frenchies to complete the circuit.

Let’s not forget bad luck.
Like Venezuela, Cuba’s economy just came undone! 🤷♂️
Restaurant girl: totally sane and rational. “No tacos for you, MAGA whitey!”
Yeah. “She’s hot” doesnt really count for much. We joke about not sticking it in crazy but it really is no joke. A week with her and you would be curled up on the floor in a fetal position sobbing in a puddle of your own piss while crying “What the fuck was I thinking?!”
A deep fat fryer is hot. Still not sticking it in.

Back when there was a spate of bread truck hijackings sending ill-gotten gains across the border to Mexico, I proposed that bakers put a small explosive in each loaf. If the final customer had the device to turn it off, no problem. If not… on the dinner table.
The whole thing wound up being just a flash in the pan.
That idea was dynamite, sounds like those bakers just had a short fuse.
Better than the rumors I heard.
One of the lesser known NIH projects of Fauci was to address the border concerns, working on a viral payload that could be activated by a secondary virus deployed only on the Mexican side of the border. Needless to say, it was an ill-conceived project. The secondary virus spread like wildfire, particularly favoring the XX chromosome portion of the population.
Fauci was too big of a douche to own up to giving all the women a yeast infection.
That didn’t go the way I expected.
Kind of like eating King Cake and choking on the baby.
You did your part. It was the yeast you could do.
Shpip is never one to loaf around. He’s really upper crust in these parts.
He also has a rye sense of humor.
That’s brilliant, but what if your dog eats it?
Doggone?

I got kneed in the dome by a spazzy noob just the other day. It happens. Just consider it good practice in dealing with spazzy white belts, and a reminder to wear that mouthguard.
That girl is no n00b.
Inexplicable and unprovoked
Several longtime corporate sponsors of San Francisco’s Pride celebrations are pulling their funding for the festivities, leaving Pride organizers searching for another way to raise $300,000.
In the past four weeks, multiple companies told San Francisco Pride, the nonprofit behind San Francisco’s annual Pride Parade and Civic Center celebration, that they would not support the 2025 Pride celebrations. In an interview with SFGATE, San Francisco Pride’s executive director, Suzanne Ford, said she was “really disappointed” by the developments.
In their communications with San Francisco Pride, the sponsors all cited a lack of funds. None of them mentioned the political climate. But Ford noted that it was “very abnormal” for several multiyear sponsors to suddenly drop their support for the event. A few sponsors pull their support every year, she said, but they typically do so after a series of conversations with the nonprofit.
“I just interpreted that companies are making decisions that at this time it’s not good to be sponsoring Pride,” Ford told SFGATE. “I think in this political environment that they thought that was a risky decision. But that’s just me reading the tea leaves. I think for a long-term sponsor not to sponsor us, they are responding to what we are.”
Ford told KTVU-TV that those sponsors included Comcast; Anheuser-Busch, the company behind Budweiser and Beck’s beer; wine company La Crema; and Diageo, the beverage company that produces Guinness, Smirnoff and other alcoholic drink brands. Aside from Comcast, all of those companies specialize in alcoholic beverages, a market that has become more volatile as Americans’ drinking preferences shift.
Homophobes are destroying America.
Maybe they can go back to having just a week or a weekend instead of a whole damn month.
So was it the celebration of pedophilia, or the shit on the streets that changed their minds?
“…alcoholic beverages, a market that has become more volatile as Americans’ drinking preferences shift.”
Uh. I’d say peoples’ drinking habits are remarkably consistent. They *are becoming* more volatile? Why? Uh. Huh. Maybe people got the memo and realized they wouldn’t impress the Cool Kids anymore by liking Euro and domestic wine, cuz they’re, like, so cultured and stuff.
Wine is served with Communion as a reminder of the Lord’s ease at tormenting the faithful, forcing the pleasurable buzz through the fetid stench of decomposed raisins.
Public sex acts just aren’t the family-friendly draw they used to be.
“The Aristocrats!”
Comcast is already content with fucking over their customers without line every day of the year, not just during one parade.
I was finally able to eliminate Comcast on Friday – happy dance, happy dance. I’m a bit skeptical of “Internet air” (5g connection rather than wired) but it seems plenty good enough so far.
I dumped Comcast for T-Mobile internet and it’s worked well so far. Maybe a bit more latency than Comcast, but at $50/month cheaper I can live with it.
These companies realized that they would no longer be penalized by the mob, and so stopped throwing good money after bad.
This is a market correction.
Granny of the Year
WAUCHULA, Fla. – A Florida grandmother who is in jail after her granddaughter died under her watch in a hot car months after her grandson died in her care is accusing two women of extorting her in jail.
This is a weird circumstance, even by Florida standards.
I’m confused I thought a MAP was democratic orthodoxy at this point.

And 16 is too old for a democrat?
We could have OMWC check — he seems to know plenty of NPR folks after all — there must be some intersection of his social circles.
Uh-oh. When I was forty, I had sex with some people and I’m pretty sure they were all someone’s children… At least, I’m pretty sure that there was no parthenogenesis happening…
Obligatory.
Trump really doesn’t care. This is interesting.

All of these entities that are government-funded – yet not part of the government. And I thought CFPB was bad…
Yeah. Although the board appears to be controlled by the executive.
It’s the entity itself that makes this interesting. We all know it’s a money laundering operation.
The size and scope of all these NGO’s is insane. I thought things were bad, but everything is 10x worse than I thought.
Looks to me like DOGE paying them a visit was OK by the board. I don’t see a problem here.
Quangos.
Impressive derp.
“Congressionally Funded” and “Independent” are antonyms.

“The employees of our building are not federal employees, executive branch employees,” Moose said. “They are employees of the institute. We have our own, separate board; we have our own bypass authority to go directly to Congress in order to get our money. Somehow, all of those arguments have not prevailed.”
You’re funded by U S government dollars. None of that other stuff matters. It’s just window dressing.
Everything that person just said is the problem.
And they don’t even realize it.
STOP LOOKING BEHIND THE CURTAIN!!!
The outages come as Cubans are experiencing a severe economic crisis that analysts have blamed on the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, a program of domestic measures that triggered inflation and, above all, the tightening of sanctions by the United States.
The Castros are out of power (Fidel dead, Raul retired), so journalists can make baby steps towards pointing out that the Cuban government has fucked up Cuba.
The Castros were never real communists.
It’s because the US is mean. Mostly.
Moose vowed legal action, saying that “what has happened here today is an illegal takeover by elements of the executive branch of a private nonprofit.”
He said the institute’s headquarters, located across the street from the State Department, is not a federal building. Speaking to reporters after leaving the building, Moose noted that “it was very clear that there was a desire on the part of the administration to dismantle a lot of what we call foreign assistance, and we are part of that family.”
Good grief. He’s like a spoiled child whose allowance has been taken away.
“Sorry, folks. Park’s closed. Moose out front shoulda told you.”
*golf clap*
That describes all of them. I really like the frog demanding we return the Statue of Liberty.
If Trump hadn’t laid off that locksmith, this wouldn’t have happened. https://www.sfgate.com/california-parks/article/slide-closes-major-highway-into-yosemite-20228212.php
And what happens if somebody needs to take a shit?
Carry in, carry out.
Go in the woods, like a bear.
If you don’t carry a roll of RV toilet paper and hand sanitizer in your vehicle, you’re a rank amateur.
The U.S. Institute of Peace says on its website that it’s a nonpartisan, independent organization “dedicated to protecting U.S. interests by helping to prevent violent conflicts and broker peace deals abroad.”
The nonprofit says it was created by Congress in 1984 as an “independent nonprofit corporation,“ and it does not meet U.S. Code definitions of “government corporation,” “government-controlled corporation” or “independent establishment.”
I’m sure they can provide us us a list of successes a mile long.
They can resume work as soon as they find another sugar daddy.
That all sounds like foreign policy work, which is clearly the purview of the executive branch. Their very existence sounds like an unconstitutional usurpation of executive power.
Seems like the whole point of this junk is to absolve oneself of responsibility.
Imagine telling your boss, “Sorry the people I outsourced my job to without telling anyone just fucked up the system beyond repair.”
Another argument would be that since it is foreign policy Trump can do whatever he wants with it.
Perhaps even a violation of the Logan Act.
Splashdown!
That was fun to watch.

I stand corrected. What’s the law forbidding private citizens from engaging in rogue diplomacy?
Trump should issue a cease-and-desist and lock them up.

Tough guy, Tampon Timmy.
Deploy your tin foil hats, 1100 pages about the JFK assassination have been released.
Nosing around, I’m not sure what a lot of this means. There’s a bunch about Cuba and the CIA so that might at least be interesting.

I’ll wait for the meme version.
And Oswald’s handler is……..?
I came up with three joke replies to that.
Ruth Paine
Ruth Paine, who was reportedly having an affair with Oswald’s hot Russian wife.
It looks like the documents mainly concern the US-Cuba relationship. There is information on the service of secret agents, policies in what to do if a ship is fired upon, etc.
It says that “section 10” is from grand jury testimony, and section 11 is from tax records
This was a pretty shocking revelation:

Violence in Antarctica
Agroup of South African scientists has pleaded for help, saying they are trapped in an isolated base on a cliff edge in Antarctica with a team member who has become violent.
One of the team has been accused of assault and threatening violence against his colleagues, according to the South African newspaper The Sunday Times. South Africa’s environment minister confirmed that an assault had taken place.
A team member. Uh huh. If Kurt Russell is the one who made the call, nuke it.
A certain South African ambassador is looking work.
Win win?
Maybe that’s why Hunter’s there. If he brings some 8-balls of his good stuff, I’m sure he’d inspire some motivated speeches.
As soon as they run out of their snowy supply in the snow, I’m also sure the feverish nightmare would intensify. *grabs popcorn*

There’s probably no end of blunt objects and other improvised weaponry there. Man up commit a little mayhem, ya pussies.
