Took my oldest to his Jiu Jitsu class last night. At 5’10” 140lbs he is at the point where he is in one standard deviation above the mean for overall size for the class (includes women). So he’s normally stuck rolling with a guy 50-60 pounds heavier. Not this time, only 4 others showed up and he had to roll with a 90lbs girl his age.
He had no trouble of course since she was tiny, but it was funny when they were practicing lateral drops and she elbowed him in the mouth, then managed to submit him a few minutes later. If you’re that small you can’t play by the rules, right?

In their communications with San Francisco Pride, the sponsors all cited a lack of funds. None of them mentioned the political climate. But Ford noted that it was “very abnormal” for several multiyear sponsors to suddenly drop their support for the event.
