Via Warty:

I am afraid I cannot use such cringe imagery for a links featured image, but I have to put it here.  Who’s the Argentine?  Javier Millei. An anarchocapilalist politician.

Regarding his romantic life he has suggested in a La Nación interview that he is a champion of free love, and in a local TV program stated that he took part in several threesomes and that he is a Tantra instructor, in his words being “capable of remaining three months without ejaculating” and “bad cow.”

Yes, he’s a nut, but he’s a nut we can root for.

For the links!

The unexpected news over the weekend is the unexpected turnout for Bolsonaro in the Brazilian election.  Support for Bolsonaro unexpectedly were not apparent in polls prior to the election, for some reason… Ignacio Lula de Silva, the  communist candidate (I am using this in the strictest academic sense), unexpectedly failed to achieve 50% of the vote.  Therefore the top two candidates unexpectedly will be subject to a unexpected runoff election.

Seriously, everyone expected the communist to win.  The propaganda transcends borders.

Elsewhere in Latin America…US-Mexico-Canada trade disputes over energy.  They want Brazil to be poor.

Most dangerous country for…environmentalists?

I know what you’re thinking, these guys again? Yup. More Satanic imagery, more underhanded Jungian lyrics, more space organs, more suggestive ballet dancers…its all there.

Why no one trusts the police anymore

Over the summer, British police’s participation in Pride events gave rise to widespread public criticism. Many victims of often uninvestigated burglaries, thefts and robberies were left wondering why officers had the time to don rainbow flags and do the Macarena, but not to catch the criminals who stole their mobile phone or nicked their car.

It is a fair criticism. Home Office figures reveal that in the year to March 2022, a paltry 5.6 per cent of offences resulted in a charge and / or summons. It has also been revealed that only half of burglaries in London are now even attended by a Met officer.

On Wednesday last week, audiences heard all about the police’s poor performance at a Police Foundation lecture, delivered by College of Policing chief executive Andy Marsh. To his credit, Marsh did at least acknowledge the relationship between the sight of dancing coppers, uninvestigated crimes and falling public confidence in the police. He said public frustration was understandable, when police are seen to attend Pride marches but not crime scenes.

But Marsh didn’t go far enough. The crisis of public confidence in the police is not just about resources being wasted at a time of soaring crime. It is also about their increasingly clear political bias, fuelled by the influence of lobby groups like Stonewall. The willingness of the police to go after critics of transgender ideology is a case in point.

Debates over the nature of sex, gender and identity are hotly contested. Moreover, the Court of Appeal has already ruled, in the case of Harry Miller last year, that expressing views that are critical of gender-identity ideology should not be treated as a police matter. And judges in the case of Maya Forstater have ruled that gender-critical beliefs are protected by the Equality Act 2010. Yet officers continue to harass critics of transgender ideology as if they are breaking the law. This looks to all and intents and purposes as if the police are engaged in a politically motivated crusade against those holding the ‘wrong’ views.

Indeed, just two days before Marsh’s lecture, the police’s pro-trans bias was on full display. An official Sussex Police social-media account warned users not to question the gender identity of convicted child sex offender John Stephen Dixon (now identifying as Sally Ann Dixon), who is reportedly being sent to a women’s prison. Sussex Police told critics that any ‘hateful comments’ towards the convicted child abuser would not be tolerated. They claimed that referring to Dixon as a man met the definition of a ‘hate crime’ and advised critics not to express their views. In other words, the police’s bias towards trans ideology led them to prioritise the feelings of a convicted paedophile over free speech. It took an intervention from the home secretary, Suella Braverman, for Sussex Police to apologise.

  14. Count Potato

“Pediatric gender clinics have popped up to meet the growing demand of children and adolescents who have adopted a transgender identity. At least 47 pediatric gender clinics, many at prominent children’s hospitals, have broadened the scope of their patient criteria to include not only transgender-identified children, but those they describe as “gender creative,” “gender diverse,” or “gender nonconforming.” Some of these programs see patients as young as two and three years old.”

“Pedophile Sympathizer On Board Sponsoring New LGBT Daycare Project in Berlin

A gay rights organization in Berlin, Germany, is set launch a new pilot program next spring by opening two daycare centers with a special focus on providing the children education on LGBT issues. But disturbingly, an academic with a lengthy history of normalizing pedophilia is one of three people on the board overseeing the organization….

“Many schools and daycare centers still struggle to educate when it comes to homosexuality, transsexuality, and intersex with respect with children,” the daycare’s about page reads, “We want to change that now.”

Disturbingly, one of the members of the board overseeing and sponsoring the Gay Counseling Services and their project is Rüdiger Lautmann, a German sociologist and gay rights advocate who has a lengthy history of normalizing pedophilia.

Lautmann is a former professor at the University of Bremen, where he taught from 1971 to 2001. Most notably, Lautmann authored a book titled The Lust for Children: A Portrait of Pedophiles. The book is based on his interviews with 60 men who admitted to sexually abusing young children, primarily boys.”

Same thing is going on in the UK

Mermaids, the charity for transgender youth, continues to unravel before our eyes. Last night, one of its trustees resigned. A Times investigation found that he had given a presentation at an event hosted by B4U-ACT, a US organisation that advocates on behalf of ‘minor-attracted persons’. The Times describes B4U-ACT as a ‘paedophile-aid group’. […] B4U-ACT was founded in 2003 by Russell Dick, a social worker, and Michael Melsheimer, a convicted paedophile. One of its aims is to break down the ‘stigma’ surrounding paedophilia. It stresses on its website that paedophiles ‘often show a desire to protect children and make them happy’. B4U-ACT consistently refers to attraction to minors as a ‘sexuality’. And Breslow’s talk – titled ‘Sexual Alignment: Critiquing sexual orientation, the paedophile, and the DSM V’ – took up precisely this theme.

I mean, that dealer installed rustproofing is BULLSHIT…is there really anything additional on there you sleazy bastard…but I was sick of the idiotic purchasing process and just wanted to get it over with. Maybe that’s what happened with Elon, although the stakes are a bit higher of course. I don’t know if he’ll make a mint or lose his shirt but it should be good for some laughs in the meantime.

    • SDF-7

I bought my current car because my wife got tired of me looking over the website and thinking about my options and just leaned over me and clicked “Purchase”.

No idea who Elon’s current squeeze is — but given some of his exes, I could see that happening.

(And it has been the best car I’ve ever owned, so I’m glad she did it… )

    • Semi-Spartan Dad

I think there is new information that we don’t know about that puts it in Musk’s advantage to proceed rather than walk away. From Musk’s released analyses on the data he was given, it sounds like Twitter falsified the estimated bot rate in their SEC filings by something like 400%. Musk is smart and has a good team to advise him. There’s a cold calculation behind this move.

Maybe there has since been new data released to dispute the mispresented bot rate, but I haven’t seen it beyond Twitter just saying that Musk is wrong. It would be in Twitter’s best interest to release that data publicly if they could refute it.

So, they could have paired up Sarah Michelle Gellar and Linda Cardellini?

      • Shiny Nerfherder

        Hmmmmm….

      • slumbrew

        Linda Cardellini

She’s pretty high on my “Sneaky Hot” list.

Or, to borrow a Bill Simmons bit, “The Diane Lane All-Stars”

      • Zwak. who's suit is as ragged as his nerves.

Modify that to Alyson Hannigan and Linda Cardellini, and you got yourself a deal!

      • JaimeRoberto (carnitas/spicy salsa)

It would have worked if it weren’t for those meddling studio execs.

Just shove a scooby snack up there — better than peanut butter.

    • Ted S.

I never particularly thought of her as straight, bi, or lesbian, just freaky in the sack.

Daphne, on the other hand, it high-maintenance. Stay away from her.

With all the hullabaloo about transgender females taking over women’s sports, the best estimates are that there are twice as many trans males as trans females. OTOH, in my own personal experience as an advisor to college students, I advised three trans females but no trans males. (They weren’t doing it for athletic purposes; after all they were physics majors.)

    • Count Potato

The surge in FTM is new.

      • Shiny Nerfherder

And purely opportunistic. Mastectomies are a lower bar to clear than bottom surgeries are. Therefore they can get more business in the door.

        It’s evil.

      • Count Potato

It’s more complicated than that. Girls are more likely to be uncomfortable with their bodies, and are much more susceptible to “social contagion”.

Politically, a female presenting as masculine is no where as transgressive as a male presenting as feminine (eg. women can wear men’s clothes), so merely being butch or tom doesn’t earn any woke points.

      • Shiny Nerfherder

I don’t disagree, I’m just saying that from a financial perspective it’s a lower risk proposition with better payoff to push top surgery. The clinics get better cash flow.

Boys have to go for the full enchilada and that’s a harder sell with more risks.

I’ve taken to thinking about it in the most cynical way possible because that seems to be the way it actually is.

        Always follow the money.

It’s also crazy cakes that for all the rainbow shit, kids can’t grow up to be gay. They’re turning the U.S. into Iran.

      • kinnath

My brother, the gay rights activist for the last 30 years or so, has noted that trans-activists are undoing all of his work.

      • Shiny Nerfherder

Exactly. If you care one whit about the social acceptance of homosexuals, you need to be working against this insanity. Because the backlash is going to be ugly and last for generations.

      • Count Potato

Well, most FTM are non-op. That is they keep their junk, but often get cosmetic surgeries (boobs, FFS, tracheal shaves). Although that is changing now that they are pushing it on kids.

The most fucked up thing is that they are performing hysterectomies on girls. Which makes no sense since you can’t see someone’s uterus.

      • Shiny Nerfherder

        Child bearing is oppression, dude.

For SCIENCE lovers, they sure do seem to deny a lot of it.

      • Count Potato

So much for the pregnant man emoji.

“Boys have to go for the full enchilada”

I think its more the full taco, but I’m no expert on this stuff.

      • Count Potato

Anyway, based on neurology and history, FTM should be very rare. So I completely agree it should require more safekeeping, even among adults.

    • Count Potato

“A transgender male is a person who was born female and who now lives as a male. A transgender female is a person who was born male and who now lives as a female.”

That’s a terrible use of language.

      • Lackadaisical

So much this. Also, I refuse to use the terms that way.

They are males or females experiencing transgenderism.

    • Timeloose

So we are transforming society for <1% of the population.

One for the aviation geeks: OTD (okay, yesterday) in 1967, William J. “Pete” Knight piloted an X-15A2 to a speed of Mach 6.7, or 4,520 MPH — which has never been broken to this day.

    • Count Potato

      His call sign was “Pete”?

    • Bobarian LMD

The Space Shuttle would do 17.6K mph, so maybe there some context to that record? Atmosphere?

Great Moments in the War on Drugs!

    https://www.nbcnews.com/news/crime-courts/dea-lost-track-drug-mule-114-pound-fentanyl-bust-rcna49419

A fentanyl courier moving enough to kill millions got busted, then slipped the DEA

Brian Besser, the special agent in charge of the Drug Enforcement Administration’s Denver Field Division, said. “I wanted you to see that behind the scenes there is aggressive and tenacious police work being done and prosecution being done to save lives and to bring people to justice.”

Among the cases Besser highlighted was the seizure of 114 pounds of pure fentanyl in June — enough, he said, to kill more than 25 million people. He described it as the largest fentanyl bust on a U.S. highway in history.

The suspect, David Maldonado, 27, had agreed to cooperate with federal agents and help them arrest the drug traffickers in South Bend, Indiana, where he said the fentanyl was headed, according to the Colorado State Patrol. But on the way to do the deal, Maldonado managed to lose the DEA agents and remove the tracker they had placed on his car.

Unsaid, as always, is what mechanism it would require for fentanyl to kill millions of people.

I suppose that if Santa Claus took it to every house…

    • Urthona

It also depends on how deadly the fentanyl is.

If the fentanyl has easy access to AR-15s, a lot of people are gonna.

      • Urthona

        die

      • Atreides

The fentanyl was headed to South Bend. Let’s hope it doesn’t hitch a ride with all of those AR-15s driving themselves to Chicago.

      • straffinrun

I don’t know about that. I’ve seen fentanyl do a double leg takedown, transition to the back and sink in a rear naked choke. He didn’t even need an AR.

      • Shiny Nerfherder

Fenton Ill was a bad dude.

I heard he even beat up Corn Pop.

    • straffinrun

Fentanyl isn’t like anthrax. It’s not gonna kILl miLLyunZ! unless, you know, like someone looks for it, buys it and then takes it.
