Getting an interview slot can take a while though.

I don’t like it in principle anyway. If gen pop is good enough for the little people, it’s good enough for everybody.
Pre-check is worth it because you don’t have to take off your shoes and belt and unload all your electronics, and then go through an old fashioned metal detector instead of the other scanner that – and ymmv here – would always trigger an alert for me and require a patdown.

This display of calculated rationality is not fair. They were hoping he’d rush the bench and bite the judge’s ear off, so they could triumphantly proclaim him unfit for office.
If the judge is a true believer, he most certainly would go this route rather than a fine and probation for a paperwork error.
Without the predicate felony, all of the paperwork errors revert back to misdemeanor and are moot for statute of limitations. You can be a hack, but I still can’t see how you get around that.

A Georgia prosecutor on Thursday appealed a ruling dismissing some of the criminal charges against former President Donald Trump and other defendants in an election interference case.
The notice of appeal filed by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis does not say why an appeals court should reverse the March dismissal. Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee quashed six counts in the indictment, including three against Trump, saying the counts did not allege sufficient detail regarding the nature of the violations.

As far as I can tell about PA there was no fraud, and Trump even improved in some of the bluest areas (Philly and Pittsburg proper), held the most rural and lost in the suburbs.
I do have a difficult time accepting assertions of fraud where Republicans hold the relevant offices – say GA for example. And I remember how this was planned to be Trump’s excuse for losing in ’16. So invoking that, when he had already played the card – yeah, I want serious proof.

There was a snow shovel leaned against the wall outside my front door. Unbeknownst to me there was a giant squirrel perched on the shovel handle. When I went to open the door the shovel slid over and this monstrous squirrel was staring at me. It then started as to leap off the handle to try and get in the house. I managed to slam the door shut, sending the shovel and the squirrel flying with howls of what I assume were fear. Three other giant squirrels in the yard took notice and came over. The entrance to my house is now being patrolled by squirrel beasts out for revenge. Maybe I’ll see if I can escape out the back door.
