Ok, enough about Montreal.
This week is dominated by Mercury and Mars working their way between various other planets. Monday or Tuesday, expect sky-worthy news about a war. Then the next day or two you see Mercury replaced by the moon and Jupiter, with a result of war/change/home/rulership/happy/water. We can only be so lucky.
Signs this week point to a new well being dug. It may also point to a new well needing to be dug because the current one went dry. Then on Saturday, we see change/luck/domestic/romance corresponding with that well going dry. *Blinks* Oooooooh. This is also a good week for bad people — Lying, belligerence, and throwing your weight around all are successful tactics.

I’ll take it!!!
I’ll take two!
I delayed my walk to see Lily and her friends. It was an excellent decision. That GSD is so beautiful!
Leo: King of Swords reversed – Cruelty, perversity, barbarity, perfidy, evil intention.
Bring it. I’m ready.
A while back I posted a pic of Lily playing with a GSD pup named Queenie. That pup has grown into what might be the most beautiful example of the breed I’ve ever seen. I’ll try to get some pics.
Thanks!
I’ve noticed that they are breeding them properly again. Smaller and squarer.
I miss my girl every day.
Queenie still has a bit of slope to her topline, but not radically so.
Me too. Have been looking forward to the Lily pics every week.
Sagittarius: 3 of Cups – The conclusion of any matter in plenty, perfection and merriment; happy issue, victory, fulfilment, solace, healing,
What’s the catch?
Hey! He got one more cup than I did! 😡
My yard is so quiet today. I have no idea what sort of fuzzy carnage she’s wreaking while I’m at work, but in the few hours I’m at home and she’s in the yard she’s caught four chipmunks and a mole. I haven’t seen a chipmunk in two days. The only squirrel is absurdly paranoid and doesn’t take its eyes off the back door.
That squirrel should consider relocating.
There used to be a squirrel that lived at the dog park. Used to be.
Did it…die at the dog park? 😳
Fruitfulness, action, initiative, length of days, the unknown, clandestine, difficulty, doubt, ignorance.
Another week of too much crap. Of course the dog pics make up for it all.
Aquarius: The Devil – Ravage, violence, vehemence, extraordinary efforts, force, that which is predestined
Who could have predicted these levels of inflation!/!?11? – Jerome Powell
The USPSA classification system seems to work. At the match yesterday, the three highest classified people (M, A, B) took the top 3 places (in their predicted order). I won my division. And overall, the only people who beat me were people that are legitimately better than me, so that was nice.
Congrats!
You don’t want to be Ember’s “mom’s” other service dog? Spoilsport.
The servicing would probably be great. The cost of ownership otoh…
Double porterhouse day!

The other pair had smaller filets.
I just noticed the P365 comes in .380. Mouse guns have really caught my interest.
I jumped into .380 pre covid. I don’t know if I would go into new calibers these days.
*checks internet*
Looks like .380 prices are coming down a little bit though.
And Springfield has since discontinued the 911s in .380 since I bought a pair. The size of 9mm pistols these days, not much reason to go the .380 route.
Huh, looks like they discontinued the 9mm version too. Too hard to compete with the double stacks?
I started with a SW BG380 a long time ago. Circa covid, became very interested in easily concealable types. I like it but can’t stand the laser or safety on it and the newer models without have been rare.
Like to try a Beretta 950 someday.
Glibbing inbetween seasoning the Blackstone (2 rounds done, 1 maybe 2 more to go). Have a couple of very thick strip steaks in the freezer that will end up smoking on the Traeger then reverse seared on the Blackstone – probably tomorrow since I have the day off now.
⬅
I have flank steak in a marinade. I’ll grill them (and corn on the cob) later
I grilled some avocado with the steaks.
Ooh, I’m going to have to try that. Just cut in half or sliced?
How I do it:
Skin on, cut in half, and rub a lil oil on the fruit. 3-4 minutes on high heat, fruit side down.
Bbqing chicken today. It’s going on.
Just starting the coals for some ribz.
Speaking of Montreal… it’s just about time to turn on the teevee.
Yup, should be a good race after two years off the calendar. Qualifying yesterday in the rain was exciting. Nice to see Haas getting up there on the grid, they need to get some points today.
There were many checkered flags out on buildings when I was there.
Good grief. I’m glad my wife isn’t a Pisces.
If you’re a Pisces, you’re going sterile.
What difference, at this point, does it make?

depends on who you ask and what you value! – Ezra Klein
Don’t know if is a new WP feature, but the pics today have a visual search option. Surprisingly, the search engine ID’s Lily as a Great Pyrenees (which she is half) and not a Golden (her other half, and what humans ID her as.) Some of the pics also ID her as a Kuvas.
Server error is back.
Amazingly noncommittal.
Yeah, not worth much on its own. A good way of clarifying other cards though.
But is he working?
Someone doesn’t read the alt-text.
I was working! So I scrolled too fast.
Sad!
Honest? Honest as the day is long
Actor Dean Norris criticized people who are complaining about soaring gas prices across the United States.
The “Breaking Bad” star said current gas prices are “fair market” and urged anyone who “love[s] Capitalism” to “stfu,” an acronym for shut the f— up.
“You’re not getting ‘robbed’ at the pump,” Norris wrote in a tweet on Wednesday. “You’re paying fair market price for a commodity. If you love Capitalism so much then stfu.”
Something tells me he’s a member of the Michael Mooore school of economics.
Christ, what an ignorant asshole.
Taking Mr. Mojeaux out for Father’s Day lunch here.
This is a BBQ place to which we have never been.
Mmmmm….brisket…
He’ll get pork ribs, guaranteed, but I prefer moo over oink.
I miss our nearby Oinkadoodlemoo BBQ place! 😢 The lady who worked there was really nice, but probably overworked trying to run the place alone. Luckily, there’s one near my office in a converted tavern, so I can still get it for lunch or to take home. Don’t know if the BBQ is much better than average, but they have sides for which to die! 😋
That is a great name for a BBQ joint. Love it.
I like it all and usually go mixed plate. Local joint does a four meat platter. Heaven.
Brisket and burnt ends plate.
Burnt ends? Sounds interesting. I like KC style BBQ sauce also . Although it’s hard to know what is authentic. Not a fan of overly sweet sauces.
I’m partial to the mustard-based Carolina-style BBQ sauce, at least on something like pulled pork.
And burnt ends are the nom!
“Let 1000 flowers bloom” is my BBQ mantra. I’m partial to the Florida/Georgia style, vinegar heavy sauce; also, pig is my BBQ meat of first choice. However, I haven’t met a BBQ style or food I didn’t like; I’ll eat it all.
Mmmm… New Orleans BBQ oysters.
Bacon…bacon…bacon…bacon.
Other than that, I agree with you.
I like ham okay, particularly around Christmas time, and on my eggs Benedict, which I had for bfast yesterday.

Brisket, burnt ends, baked beans. Not as good as it looks. https://twitter.com/MoriahJovan/status/1538600625759322112
So you got two appetizers? 🤪
I can report this is not a place I will come to again. Way too much sophistication for my palate. Good BBQ doesn’t need gourmeting up.
^ Needs more trays with butcher paper
You are correct, sir.
Mr. Mojeaux and I went with DEG and Ozy to a place with red butcher paper and a very grainy vinegar sauce. It’s my FAVORITE.
Cruelty, perversity, barbarity, perfidy, evil intention..
You don’t know me! I’m not cruel, or barbaric.
I’ll cop to the the rest.
Appropriate
Not just yes, but FUCK YES! OMWC, WebDom, & Spud, here I come.
l0b0t: watched a bit more of the FFFB series, and I’m seeing better where you were coming from – also giving the earlier takes some different context.
I worked in one of those buildings once upon a time. PVM – Place Ville Marie.
I hardly go into Monreal proper anymore.
Now that I’m two rivers removed from it.
Rufus! Come join the current thread! We’ve missed you!
